Subject: Urgent Appeal Regarding

Grade Rectification Issue

Dear Sir,

I hope this message finds you in the best of health. Sir, I completed a course titled "Life and Learning" with the course
code "SD110." The resource person for this course was Ma’am Saima Hammad (v30815@umt.edu.pk). Instead of
submitting final papers, we were required to give a presentation, which I did accordingly. However, Ma’am
unintentionally overlooked inputting the marks for this presentation, resulting in an erroneous grade of F. Surprisingly,
he gave me an SA grade instead of an F.

This incident took place abruptly, without allowing us a moment to comprehend what had transpired. I am not the only
one affected by her careless attitude; my fellow batchmates also requested a grade review during that time. Due to the
summer vacation and the online nature of our classes, it was nearly impossible to meet her in person on campus. Even
after the semester and exams, finding an opportunity to speak with her face-to-face proved to be challenging.

Consequently, since my third year, I have been consistently visiting the examination board in an attempt to rectify my
grade. They provided me with the only solution available, which involved asking Ma’am to write an application
acknowledging her mistake in grading and requesting her signature, along with my Head of Department's endorsement.
After some effort, I managed to obtain her personal phone number and explained the entire situation to her. He checked
her records, acknowledged her error, and agreed to meet me at the university the next day to sign the application as I
had requested.

However, Sir, it is crucial that the application is written by the resource person, explaining the reasons for the mistake,
rather than the student. I conveyed this requirement to her, but since then, he has been avoiding my messages and calls.
If needed, I can provide you with the chat history between us as evidence.

I implore you, Sir, to consider the significance of a single application and a simple signature from her, which can spare
me from the burden of retaking and paying for this subject again. Your assistance in this matter would mean the world
to me, as I approached you with great hope and trust.

Warm Regards
Faisal Mehmood
