    Tutorial Question week 12

    Question 1

    State the implied guarantees as to supply of services and its rights to redress that you
    have learned.

    Question 2

    Peter (P) drove his car to the workshop and complained that his car brakes are not
    functioning well. The next day P went to pick the car and was told that the brake fluid
    needed topping up and now it is functioning well.

    Unknown to both of them there was leak in the hose leading to the brake pump which is
    not noticeable on preliminary examination. When P was driving on the highway, the
    leak in the hose expanded causing the brake to completely malfunction. When P
    slammed the break, the car rammed into the side railing thus leading the car to a total
    wreck.
