1. A Model 70 racing car starts from rest, reaching a speed of 144km / H in a time of 10s. Find the acceleration
and the distance traveled by the car.

2. A fighter plane on a runway starts from rest, reaching a speed of 208.8 km / h, in 14 seconds. Determine the
acceleration and distance traveled.

3. A vehicle starts from rest, reaching a speed of 126km / h in a time of 5s. Calculate the acceleration and the
distance traveled by the vehicle.

4. A TGV test train set the record for the fastest wheel train, reaching 574.8 km / h in
one.5 minutes and starting from rest on April 3, 2007 in France. Find the acceleration and the distance traveled
by the train.

5. A supersonic aircraft travels at a speed of 316.8km / h and then accelerates to a speed of


475.2km / h in a time of 15 seconds. Find the acceleration and the distance traveled by the supersonic.

12. A fast train moves with a speed of 144km / h, suddenly applies the brakes and stops in 18 seconds. Find the

13. A light aircraft flying at 306km / h landed on a runway and traveled 500m before stopping. Determine the time
it took to stop and the acceleration.

14. A cargo plane flies at 432km / h and lands on a runway traveling 1.5km before stopping, determines
the acceleration and the time it takes to stop the ship.
15. A fighter plane flying at 360km / h landed on a runway and traveled 100m before stopping by means of a
deceleration net or mesh. Determine the time it took to stop and the acceleration.

16. A satellite security tracking drone flies at 126km / h and lands on a runway traveling 150m before stopping,
determines the acceleration and the time it takes to stop the spacecraft.

17. A BMW car slows down at a rate of 3m / s2 and takes 6 seconds to stop. Calculate the distance traveled
before stopping and the initial speed.

What was the time in that distance and what was the takeoff speed?
