14 PPPM World of Science and Technology Year 3
The aims of the World Science and Technology Curriculum for Primary School is to instill interest and develop creativity of the students through
experience and research to master scientific knowledge, scientific and thinking skills, scientific attitudes and moral values.
The objectives of the Standard Curriculum for Primary Schools World Science and Technology in Phase 1 :
1. Stimulate pupils’ curiosity and develop their interests on the world around them
2. Provide opportunities for pupils’ to master the science process skills and creative and critical thinking skills
3. Increase pupils' creativity
4. Provide understanding of science facts and concepts
5. Enable pupils to apply knowledge and skills in a creative, critical and analytical manner for problem solving and decision making
6. Inculcate and internalise scientific attitudes and noble values
7. Create the awareness on the need to protect the environment

The aims of ICT Standard Curriculum for primary school Is to prepare a benchmark of pupils' achievement from Year 1 to Year 6. It is to ensure
that the pupils are able to master the knowledge and basic skills of ICT needed to be learnt, encouraged creativity and prepared interesting learning
from a child's early age that will remain as a lifelong learning.
Primary School Standard Curriculum for ICT subject enables the students to:
1 Use middle alignment to the text; make a list using Bullets and Numbering in
Microsoft Excel correctly.
2 Change data from the table into a pie chart using Microsoft Excel correctly.
3 Apply Slide Animation Techniques using simple objects, animation on texts and
