behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst
make me clean. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou

to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town;
and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw
ought. 24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. 25 After that he put
his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw
every man clearly.
Wk 1 (Wed. 2nd Aug. 2023): Meet Jesus The Great Physician and His Great Prescriptions – Part 1
 We recognize that Jesus is the great Physician – Mat. 9:10-13/ Mat. 8:17/ 1 Pet 2:24
Matt 9:10-13
10
And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and
sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw
it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician,
but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and
not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matt 8:17
17
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself
took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
1 Peter 2:24
24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to
sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

 He is the only known and all-round specialist that heals and delivers from all forms of sicknesses
and diseases – Mat. 8:16-17/ Luk. 6:17-19/ Act. 10:38
Matt 8:16-17
16
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with
devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it
might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our
infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Luke 6:17-19
17
And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his
disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from
the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their
diseases; 18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. 19
And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and
healed them all.
Acts 10:38
38
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went
about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with
him.

 The prescription of this great Physician covers all issues of life including our health and wholeness
– Jhn. 10:10/ 2 Pet. 1:3
John 10:10
10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they
might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
2 Peter 1:3
3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and
godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Healing Wonders in Faith

 Healing is the covenant right of every child of God, but accessible by faith – 1 Jhn 5:4/ Mat. 9:27-29
1 John 5:4
4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that
overcometh the world, even our faith.
Matt 9:27-29
27
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying,
Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the
blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?
They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your
faith be it unto you.
 The people in Nazareth could not get healed under the ministry of Jesus and He marveled at their
unbelief – Mak. 6:6-7
Mark 6:6-7
6
And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages,
teaching. 7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two
and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

 This is why no one can tap into the healing virtue without faith – Luk. 8:40-48
Luke 8:40-48
40
And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him:
for they were all waiting for him. 41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and
he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that
he would come into his house: 42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of
age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him. 43 And a woman
having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians,
neither could be healed of any, 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his
garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched
me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude
throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46 And Jesus said,
Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. 47 And when
the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before
him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him
and how she was healed immediately. 48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good
comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

 But faith is not just believing God, faith is obeying God to proof that we believe Him, so we can
commit Him to make good His promises – Rom. 4:16-20/ Jam. 2:8/ Jhn 9:1-8
Rom 4:16-20
16
Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be
sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the
faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17(As it is written, I have made thee a
father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the
dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18 Who against hope
believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that
which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered
not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the
deadness of Sara's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief;
but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
James 2:8
8
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself, ye do well:
John 9:1-8
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. 2 And his disciples
asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born
blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the
works of God should be made manifest in him. 4 I must work the works of him that sent
me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the
world, I am the light of the world. 6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground,
and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7
And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.)
He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. 8 The neighbours therefore,
and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and
begged?
 While faith is domiciled in the heart, it requires the tongue to manifest – Rom. 10:10
Rom 10:10
10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation.

 So, everyone is given a mouth and wisdom that no one can resist or gainsay – Luk. 21:15
Luke 21:15
15
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able
to gainsay nor resist.

 It is what we condemn with our mouth that God confirms into testimonies – Isa. 54:14-18
Isa 54:14-17
14
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for
thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. 15 Behold, they shall
surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee
shall fall for thy sake. 16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the
fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster
to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue
that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the
servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

 However, it is not just speaking, but speaking boldly is what commits God to give testimonies to
the Word of His grace – Act. 14:3
Acts 14:3
3
Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony
unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

 While we reach out to God through the power of faith, the mountain of wicked will only clear our
path through bold declaration of faith – Mak. 11:23
Mark 11:23
23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall
believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever
he saith.
Wk 1 (Thur. 3rd Aug. 2023): Meet Jesus The Great Physician and His Great Prescriptions – Part 2
 Jesus Christ is the great Physician with His diagnosis impeccable and require no laboratory.
 He alone recognizes all spirit of infirmity involved in our affliction – Luk. 4:39/ Luk. 13:11-13/
Mak. 9:35-37
Luke 4:39
39
And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she
arose and ministered unto them.
Luke 13:11-13
11
And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and
was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12 And when Jesus saw her, he
called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13
And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified
God.
Mark 9:35-37
35
And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be
first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. 36 And he took a child, and set him
in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, 37
Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever
shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

Healing Wonder in the Prophetic Mantle

 A mantle is any clothing material taken from the hand of an anointed one, which carries with it the
anointing upon such individual – Act. 19:11-12
Acts 19:11-12
11
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were
brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them,
and the evil spirits went out of them.

 It is a spiritual platform for transference of power – 2 Kgs. 2:15

2 Kings 2:15
15
And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said,
The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed
themselves to the ground before him.

 It provokes manifestations of special miracles – Act. 19:11-12

Acts 19:11-12
11
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were
brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them,
and the evil spirits went out of them.

 The prophetic mantle is not a magic wand, but an instrument of power ordained to extend the
impact of an anointed one – Mat. 9:20-23/ Mat. 14:34-36
Matt 9:20-23
20
And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came
behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may
but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he
saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And
the woman was made whole from that hour. 23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's
house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
Matt 14:34-36
34
And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. 35 And when
the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round
about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; 36 And besought him that they
might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly
whole.
But one must:
 Believe in the person and the ministry of the carrier of such grace – Mat. 10:41/ Mak. 6:5-6
Matt 10:41
41
He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's
reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall
receive a righteous man's reward.
Mark 6:5-6
5
And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick
folk, and healed them. 6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round
about the villages, teaching.

 Recognize that he occupies a higher place in God than oneself – Heb. 7:7/ Mat. 5:5/ Phil. 2:5-9
Heb 7:7
7
And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
Matt 5:5
5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Phil 2:5-9
5
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God,
thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and
took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being
found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even
the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a
name which is above every name:

 Honour him in one’s heart – Mak. 6:4/ Isa. 29:13

Mark 6:4
4
But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country,
and among his own kin, and in his own house.

13
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth,
and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their
fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

 Crave for what he carries – Pro. 27:18-19/ 2Kgs. 2:4/6/8

Prov 27:18-19
18
Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master
shall be honoured. 19 As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
2 Kings 2:4/6/8
4
And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to
Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So
6
they came to Jericho. And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the
LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I
8
will not leave thee. And they two went on. And Elijah took his mantle, and
wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither,
so that they two went over on dry ground.

What in in the Mantle that Heals?

 The overflow anointing, an anointed one, this includes healing and delivers and special miracles of
all sorts in the lives of whosoever believes – Mat. 9:21-23/ Mat. 14:21-26/ Act. 19:11-12/ Luk. 8:45-48

him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. 23 And when he had sent
the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening
was come, he was there alone. 24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed
with waves: for the wind was contrary. 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus
went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the
sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
Acts 19:11-12
11
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were
brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them,
and the evil spirits went out of them.
Luke 8:45-48
45
And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with
him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who
touched me? 46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is
gone out of me. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling,
and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what
cause she had touched him and how she was healed immediately. 48 And he said unto
her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
Wk 1 (Fri. 4th Aug. 2023): Meet Jesus The Great Physician and His Great Prescriptions – Part 3
 Jesus Christ is the Great Physician that speaks to the dead and they hear Him – Jhn. 5:21-22/ Jhn.
11:40-44
John 5:21-22
21
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son
quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all
judgment unto the Son:
John 11:40-44
40
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou
shouldest see the glory of God? 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where
the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou
hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people
which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he
thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was
dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound
about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

 Following the prescription of this Great Physician is what makes whole and beautifies the destiny
of believers – Deut. 28:1-13/ 2 Tim. 3:16-17
Deut 28:1-13 [ABRIDGED]
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD
thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day,
that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all
these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the
voice of the LORD thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be
in the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the
fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5 Blessed shall
be thy basket and thy store. 6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed
shalt thou be when thou goest out.
Vs:12-13
12
The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto
thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto
many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 13 And the LORD shall make thee the head,
and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that
thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee
this day, to observe and to do them:
2 Tim 3:16-17
16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect,
throughly furnished unto all good works.

Healing Wonder in the Passover Blood

 The Passover blood was initiated by God for the rescue of His people – Exo. 11:1/ Exo. 12:21-27/33
Ex 11:1
1
And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and
upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall
surely thrust you out hence altogether.
Ex 12:21-27
21
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take
you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. 22 And ye shall take a bunch
of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two
side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door
of his house until the morning. 23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians;
and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will
pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to
smite you. 24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons
for ever. 25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will
give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. 26 And it shall
come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? 27
That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, who passed over the houses
of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our
houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
Ex 12:33
33
And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of
the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

 It is a transgenerational ordinance for all the seeds of Abraham – Exo. 12:24-25/ Heb. 13:20
Ex 12:24-25
24

And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you,
according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
Heb 13:20
20
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great
shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

 But every child of God is a spiritual Israelite, that is, a spiritual Jew – Rom. 2:28-29/ Gal. 3:29
Rom 2:28-29
28
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is
outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that
of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Gal 3:29
29
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

 The blood of Jesus our Passover Lamb, is the Blood of the everlasting covenant – 1 Cor. 5:7/
Heb. 13:20
1 Cor 5:7
7
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.
For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Heb 13:20
20
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great
shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

But What Is in The Passover Blood?

 Keeps the destroyer at bay from our territory – Exo. 12:13
Ex 12:13
13

see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you,
when I smite the land of Egypt.

 Terminates all misfortunes – Exo. 11:1-3/ Exo. 12:36

Ex 11:1-3
1
And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and
upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall
surely thrust you out hence altogether. 2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let
every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of
silver, and jewels of gold. 3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the
Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight
of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.
Ex 12:36
36
And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent
unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

the pit wherein is no water. 12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even
to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
Ex 12:12
12
For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in
the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute
judgment: I am the LORD.

the pit wherein is no water. 12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even
to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
Heb 13:20
20

silver, and jewels of gold.
1 John 5:7-8

you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.

Healing Wonder in Feet Washing

 Feet washing is a spiritual medium through which we take delivery of our missing inheritance in
Christ – Jhn. 13:3-8/ 2 Pet. 1:3/ Rev. 5:12
John 13:3-8
3
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was
come from God, and went to God; 4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments;
and took a towel, and girded himself. 5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and
began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was
girded. 6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou
wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now;
but thou shalt know hereafter. 8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet.

The Mystery of Feet-washing as Unveiled by Christ – Jhn 13:3-12

John 13:3-12
3
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was
come from God, and went to God; 4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments;
and took a towel, and girded himself. 5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and
began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was
girded. 6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou
wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now;
but thou shalt know hereafter. 8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet.
Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9 Simon Peter saith
unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10 Jesus saith to him,
He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are
clean, but not all. 11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not
all clean. 12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set
down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil. 25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy
days, so shall thy strength be.
John 5:1-4
1
After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there
is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue
Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind,
halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a
certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the
troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

 All-round cleansing power – Jhn. 13:10/ 2 Kgs 5:10-14

John 13:10

And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven
times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. 11 But Naaman
was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me,
and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place,
and recover the leper. 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than
all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went
away in a rage. 13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father,
if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how
much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? 14 Then went he down,
and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God:
and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

John 9:1-7
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. 2 And his disciples
asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born
blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the
works of God should be made manifest in him. 4 I must work the works of him that sent
me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the
world, I am the light of the world. 6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground,
and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7
And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.)

him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by
his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear:
and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the
armies of the living God. 37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the
paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of

washed, they laid her in an upper chamber. 38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to
Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men,
desiring him that he would not delay to come to them. 39 Then Peter arose and went
with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the
widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas

morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. 18 And Jehoshaphat bowed
his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell
before the LORD, worshipping the LORD. 19 And the Levites, of the children of the
Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of
Israel with a loud voice on high. 20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth
into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear
me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall
ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21 And when he had
consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise
the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD;
for his mercy endureth for ever. 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD

meek with salvation. 5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their
beds. 6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their
hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8
