As a leading unified communications (UC) platform, most organizations are using
MS Teams for video conferencing, file sharing and chat. With 115 million Teams
users registered in October 2020, the platform is seeing 50% growth over 2019.
By supporting Direct Routing, the Enghouse Dialogic BorderNet SBC secures a
reliable connection between Teams and any Communications Service Provider.
This enables interconnection between the unified communications (UC) software
platform and any SIP-based device or PSTN equipment.

MS Teams Voice Connectivity Options

In this scenario, the Enghouse Dialogic BorderNet SBC is connected to the direct
connect media server’s signaling and media paths. The MS-Teams client RTP is
relayed via the Teams direct media processors.
