“Feeding Program”

This project will be located near the Barangay Hall in Bongato East, Bayambang,
Pangasinan.

Location

RATIONALE

In order to reduce the incidence of malnutrition in the barangay and assist the youth in obtaining
the most efficient way of life, we must implement development programs and enhancement
activities.
Food is the most common problem in every community, especially during times of disasters and
calamity when commodity prices, such as food, skyrocket. The majority of Filipinos are suffering
from hunger and are on the verge of starvation. With We can implement a program that will
benefit the community with the help of concerned citizens, the government, organizations, and
foundations.

The most widely distributed solution in a community is a supplemental feeding program. It is


essentially the best preparation for pre-school studies in public school in order to promote healthy
living through healthy eating.
After five (5) months, the success of this program will be measured. We will be able to see
progress from the malnourished children as they gain weight. Undoubtedly, six months is a short
time to see results, but this project also aims to teach their families the value of budgeting and
providing healthy foods at a low cost.

PROJECT TYPE
Empower them and provide them with proper nutrition so that they can go about their daily
lives and be more responsible students, ultimately assisting them in aspire to a brighter future.
Finally, the advantages of feeding programs extend beyond providing nutritious meals to
children.

PROJECT DURATION
To complete to project, supplemental feeding program scheme provided for hot meals and
hot milk with bread to children in day care centers 5 days a week for 60 days.

Objectives of The Project

To improve students' nutritional health, to encourage regular attendance, and to introduce


proper nutrition to children and their families. To teach parents about proper nutrition. To
develop recommendations for better dietary management of moderate malnutrition.
To assist impoverished children in their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, allowing them
to perform effectively in and out of school and in the community.
