MY METHODS OF RESEARCH CLASS: REFLECTION ESSAY
It’s hard to believe that my amazing journey in BS 202 Methods of Research is
coming to an end. The journey is so much more enjoyable than I initially
expected. Actually, I have tried to avoid taking this course numerous times, to
think that I can’t finish it the whole semester. But this time around was
different, as I set my goal to obtain my Master’s Degree in Education by the end
of this second semester. Therefore, I was determined to force my way through
this class no matter what challenges I had to endure.

To my pleasant surprise, this class was much better than the others. I felt the
information and learning come much easier even it is virtual class. I enjoyed
the class together with my classmates and most especially to the most
respective professor ma’am Flores who did a very good job responding, giving
so much more ideas and guiding her students professionally.

From every one of the things that I have learned up until this point, none of
them were harder than attempting to do a research paper. I hated doing them
in my high school days. That’s one of my weaknesses. You have to gather so
much information about a topic given to you, which makes it challenging.
Knowing what I know now in research is so much helpful to understand this
subject course very well.

Because of the much better experience, I truly believe I have become a better
researcher soon. Through the whole discussion of the reporters and the
professor’s guidance in the whole semester, I have improved my analytical
skills as well as developed a greater organizational skills.

The discussion was an important tool in developing my understanding of

different aspects of the literature reviewed in this course.

On reflection I can say this class or course subject has been fun and I would
recommend this for anybody.
