JOB DESCRIPTION
IGCSE MATHS TEACHER

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with AQA and IGCSE specifications.
- Incorporate differentiation strategies for lesson to meet diverse learning needs.
- Assign, mark, and provide feedback on homework and classwork regularly.
- Monitor and record student submissions through Teams platform.
- Provide revision aids and resources to support student learning.
- Update Teams with teaching materials and resources.
- Create and administer appropriate end-of-unit assessments.
- Collect and organize student data and results.
- Write student reports and conduct parent consultations.
- Attend staff training meetings and actively participate.
- Maintain accurate daily tracker for attendance and behavior.
- Embrace constructive feedback and demonstrate proactive improvement.
- Always ensure punctuality and professionalism.
- Record lessons and manage student behavior effectively, by maintaining records.
- Foster positive student-teacher relationships and create a supportive learning
environment.
- Submit required documents as listed on the "Teacher's Organiser."
- Take holidays during designated school calendar breaks.
- Collaborate effectively as a member of the Al-Rushd team, demonstrating excellent
communication skills.
