5k school supply donations to benefit indigent children


The Trece Martires City Matikas Eagles led by Mr.Kristopher Romen during their visit at AES to donate school supplies for indigent pupils.

The Trece Martires City Matikas Eagles Club represented by Mr.Kristopher Romen, President,
has chosen Aguado Elementary School as the recipient of its 5,730php worth of school
supplies donations .

The donation consisting of 5 reams of bond papers; 4 boxes pencils; 10 boxes ball pens; 48
boxes crayons; 50 pieces notebooks and 1 box of eraser for public school learners is part of
the association's charity program. A Deed of Donation was signed on July 15, 2023 upon their
formal visit to the school.

School Principal III, Ana Marie R. Panaligan said that the school felt fortunate to be chosen as
recipients. Distribution of the school supply donations will be done prior to the school opening

awarding mechanism which was also dubbed as
“Rosalia N. Sarino Award.” It would then be an
annual rewards and incentive program to
deserving individuals who display service,
excellence and commitment which contribute to

It is named after Rosalia N. Sarino, the
philanthropist who donated the 5,000 square
meters of land where Aguado Elementary School
was presently erected.

such as being grateful, willing to serve with care
beyond what is received, and being energetic in

AES prepares for National Learning Camp
to enhance learning outcomes

Julie C. Delima, AES Reading Coordinator leads the meeting and orientation of teachers for the incoming National Learning Camp.

In support of the MATATAG Basic Education Agenda and as a sub-program under the
National Learning Recovery Program (NLRP) aimed at addressing learning loss, Aguado
Elementary School is set to conduct the National Learning Camp (NLC) during the 2022-
2023 End-of-School Year (EOSY) break.
The NLC will run for three to five weeks, from July 24 to August 25, 2023, with three days
of teacher-learner engagement for one and a half hours. The schedule will be from
Tuesday to Thursday at 9am to 10:30am.
There are a total of 127 primary pupils who will participate in the program and 16
volunteer teachers to serve as facilitators.
The NLC is a voluntary program that will start its phased implementation with Grades 1 to
3 focusing on Reading, Mathematics and enrichment activities in other grade levels
alongside the phased implementation of the NLC to support learning recovery across
grade levels.

430 girl scouts join city-wide training in TMC


Four hundred thirty-six girl scouts from different


schools of Trece Martires City District joined in the
one-day city-wide Patrol Leaders Training held on
July 1, 2023 at Trece Martires City Elementary
School.

This one day voluntary training for Junior Girl


Scout Leaders aimed to enhance their life skills
and upgrade their values, especially after the
pandemic. It was conducted to further enrich their
knowledge and skills in handling their patrols
regarding scouting.
From a total of 119 registered girl scouts, Aguado
Elementary School sent 15 representatives in the
training which is composed of 6 Grade 4 pupils; 7
Grade 5 pupils and 2 from the Grade 6 together
with Ms. Nessa S. Zulueta, AES GSP Coordinator.
The training proper began with the history of
scouting followed by a series of life skills and
emergency protocols such as Hand and Whistle
Signal, Knot Tying; and First Aid Procedures.

The whole day event ended with awarding of Snap shots during the Patrol Leaders Training as spearheaded
badges as spearheaded by Gertrudes R. Dadal, by GSP officials and authorities of TMC district.
