Subject: Write about a person who has a huge influence on you.

We owe a lot to some people around us, who help us, one way or another, to become the persons
we are today. Without a shadow of a doubt, the most important and most influential person in my
life is my father. He is always my guardian, my friend, and my role model. He fills me with love
and his caress. The way he shows his love is through his actions. One of the memories I always
keep in my heart is how he quit smoking in a day. When I was in primary school, my teacher
gave a lesson on how harmful smoking is. After that lesson, when I got home, saw my father
with a cigarette, I started to cry out loud. I told him that I was extremely worried about his health
and I would not come back to school if he hadn’t quit smoking. Since then, I’ve never seen him
smoking again. I get older and I know it’s never been easy to abandon something like alcohol or
cigarettes and that makes me appreciate my father's unconditional love more and more. He’s also
my lifetime teacher. One of them is how to be an independent person at a very young age. My
parents got to work quite hard in the past. I had to stay home alone, take care of my younger
brother and do my study. My father taught and explained everything, step by step to me. He
always gives me the best advice full of thoughtfulness. There will be ups and downs in my life,
but I know my father will be there and I feel so lucky for that. I also hope I could be able to raise
a wonderful family like my father did and also give the children his lessons.
