INVITATION TO 2022 TRI HITA KARANA FUTURE KNOWLEDGE SUMMIT 17-18 NOVEMBER 2022

President Joko Widodo will preside over the third Tri Hita Karana Forum on Sustainable Development
with the theme “Future Knowledge and Blended Finance for Better Business and Better World” around
the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Bali this November. Indonesia prepares for the historic launch of the Global
Blended Finance Alliance and the Tri Hita Karana Center of Future Knowledge around the G20
preparations kick off to prototype green, health, digital and inclusive future vision model in Bali with the
world. The two-part Forum comprises the Tri Hita Karana Blended Finance Forum on 13-14 November,
and the Tri Hita Karana Future Knowledge Summit on 17-18 November.

It is our pleasure to invite you to grace at the Tri Hita Karana Future Knowledge Summit 17-18
November 2022, which supports Indonesia President Joko Widodo’s aspiration to establish a THK Center
of Future Knowledge in Bali to join with the world in envisioning a New Era Bali Kerthi future that is
healthy, green, and digitally inclusive.

The THK Future Knowledge Summit promotes the awareness-based technology innovation and
entrepreneurship to foster human-centric advancement for a common happy future, with gathering
global leading technology partners and innovators to reimagine system shifts in solving climate change
and the SDGs. THK Sensing Journey with different themes on Nov 18th, 2022 aim to bring the
participants for a deep-dive journey to appreciate the Balinese traditional philosophy of “Tri Hita
Karana” of achieving harmonies with nature, people and self for a happy and sustainable future for all,
with planning to offer different themed sensing groups on culture and historical, generative farming,
innovative education, arts, etc.

As G20 Presidency, 2022 is a pivotal year for Indonesia and the world. Faced with the triple crises of
conflict, covid and climate change, the G20 Summit in November in Bali must be a moment where world
leaders come together in solidarity and with unwavering commitment to unlock the right finance,
technologies and capacity for a more sustainable world. This calls for global leadership and effective
cooperation between developed and developing countries for technology innovations and transfer,
transformative capital including blended and just transition finance to support the scale of investment
needed from private sectors to deliver the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
