He supervises the flushing activities at the site. He makes sure the equipment is
in good working condition, Rig up the equipment and supervises the work from
start to finish. He reports to the Project Engineer.

6.3 Equipment Operator


He ensures all necessary equipment and tools are on site; in their right quantity
and capacity. He is also responsible for assembling flushing equipments on site;
test and certify all equipments before use. he will have to be sure that all gauges
and other appurtenances are properly calibrated. It is his duty to initiate,
monitor and record flushing activities; and prepare final report.
6.4 QA/QC Inspector
He has the field responsibility for quality performance of the project work.

6.5 Safety Officer


He has responsibility for the safe conduct of flushing jobs; safety checks, and
safety reports.
Gas test around work areas, provision of adequate fire cover are also part of his
duties.

7.0 HSE PLAN


For this project, HSE responsibilities will include:
 Ensure compliance with all relevant and applicable regulations
 Control or minimise operational impact to the environment
 Safety of personnel and other stake holders by achieving an incident free work
place

The responsible person shall be a qualified HSE personnel, he shall be dedicated to


this responsibilities.
PPE shall be used by all personnel. The hard hat, safety shoes, full length coveralls
and eye protection shall be worn as a minimum PPE at all times when working on
the site. Barriers of caution tape shall be erected around the work area in order to
prevent unauthorized personnel access.
