Q4: A cone of base 80 mm in diameter and height 100 mm lies with one of its generators on
H.P. and the axis appears to be inclined to V.P. at an angle of 400 in the top view. Draw its
top view and elevation (Front view). (Marks 10)

Q5: A pentagonal pyramid with the edge of base 32 mm and axis 65 mm long is resting on
one of its triangular face on H.P. with the axis parallel to V.P. It is cut by a section plane
perpendicular to H.P. and inclined at 300 to V.P. bisecting the axis and a part consisting of
apex has been removed. Draw top view, sectional front view and true shape of a section.
(Marks 10)

Q6: A hexagonal prism of base side 20 mm and axis 80 mm stands on its base on H.P. with
one side of the base parallel to the V.P. It has a through square hole of 30 mm sides. The axis
of the hole is perpendicular to the V.P. 100 mm away from the axis of the prism and 40 mm
above the base. A face of the square hole is at 300 to the H.P. Draw the development of the
prism. (Marks 10)

Q7: A square prism of 50 mm side and 80 mm base length of axis stands on its base, with all
the sides of the base equally inclined to the V.P. Another horizontal square prism of 45 mm
side of base and 90 mm length of axis penetrates the first prism. The axis of the smaller prism
is perpendicular to V.P. and 16 mm away form the axis of the vertical prism. All rectangular
faces of the smaller prism are equally inclined to the ground. Draw three views and show the
interpenetration curves. (Marks 10)
