Line Matching Unit – AKE 200
Overview

• Line Matching Unit AKE 200 is the successor to the AKE 100,
functionally fully-compatible with AKE 100, and it serves as a one to
one replacement of AKE 100.

• AKE 200 comes in three different variants – A1, A3 and A4 – which

can be combined to cover phase-to-earth or phase-to-phase
communication over HV power lines.

• AKE 200 can be ordered pre-configured for easier installation (but

remains re-configurable) for coaxial or symmetrical data cable.

• Predecessor AKE 100 can only be ordered in exceptional case,

as product is in phase-out mode.

possible to transmit down to
a lower cutoff frequency
(aG < 2 dB) which is less than
for stage 1 given the same
capacitance of the coupling
capacitor and at the expense
of a lower return loss ( aR ≈ 7
dB). Matching stage 1 should
be used wherever possible
