Place eyes between rounds 14 and 15, leaving 13 holes between them. 1st eye is placed 2 holes
before the 2nd increase. Count 13 holes after the first eye and place the 2nd eye. If you want
the sunken eye look, do not place the backs of the eyes on until round 28.
TIP! You may have to adjust the eye placement depending on yarn and hook size you use.

Before we start on the eyes, we are going to place the nose. Sew the muzzle opening shut
together. Follow the pictures below on page 5. Place the nose right above where the opening
was.

Sweet Oddity Art 4

Now place the nose in between rounds 6 and 7 of the muzzle, in between the eyes. Try to judge
this best you can as the rounds will be difficult to see with the muzzle piece. Place the washer
on the nose.

Now for the eyes. Stuff the head well. Cut a long piece of yarn and remove the eyes. Place the
needle in the hole where the first eye was and thread the needle into a hole next to the eye
hole. Go back and forth between each eye hole repeating the process from the first eye. Pull
slightly on the yarn after going through each hole. Do this about 3 times on each side until you
reach the look you want. Follow the pictures for help. There is also a youtube video.

To place the backs of the eyes you will need to remove most of the stuffing to place the
washers on the eyes then re stuff it.

Assembly

Head and Body:

1. First sew the jowels onto the face. Pin the jowels on the muzzle and sew onto the
face.
2. Cut a long strand of white yarn. Thread your needle and insert the needle into a hole
in between the eyes. Bring the needle up to a hole on a lower corner of the eye. Bring
the needle around the outside of the eye and insert into a hole on the upper corner of
the eye. Repeat for the 2nd eye and weave in the tail ends.
3. Cut a long strand of brown yarn. Thread your needle and insert the needle into a hole
in the middle of the head. Bring the needle up to a corner above your white on your
eye. Wrap the yarn across the front of the eye and insert the needle into a hole on the
side of the eye. Repeat this 3 to 4 more times to create a sleepy eye look. Repeat for the
2nd eye and weave in the tail ends.
4. Pin the head onto the body. Sew the body to the head. You may need to add more
stuffing as you sew.

Helpful Tips:
Exact Colors and Brand of Yarn Used:
1. White: I love this yarn White
2. Dark Brown: I love this yarn Brown
3. Light Brown: Big Twist Camel
4. Red: I love this yarn Red

You can use different eye and nose sizes. You might have to adjust the placements if you
change the sizes.

You can use different hook sizes and weights of yarn. It will just change the size of your dog and
you might need to adjust eye placement.

How you stuff matters! The type of stuffing you use, how you stuff, all this matters on how your
dog turns out. I prefer Polyfil stuffing but you can use other types.
