woodside & summit middle schools ministry

whats happening?
This upcoming weekend (October 1-2), we will be having our annual Middle School Student Leader Retreat. About 45 students from around the Fort Wayne Area will be at Quaker Haven Camp in Syracuse, Indiana with the intent of getting away from the busy- ness of life and spending some quality, quiet time with God. I am looking forward to some great team time with student leaders from Woodside and Summit. PRAY for everyone attending next weekend. PRAY for some God-focused growth. Thank you for praying for our 2011 Campus Life Kick-Off!! We kicked off the year on Friday, September 9 right after the Homestead football game on the Xield. Our goal for the night was to create an atmosphere where kids felt a part of something EPIC and had enough fun to want to check out Campus Life again. We were overblown with a chaotic night of games, craziness, and fun! There were 280 middle school students there that night, 440 altogether. Praise God for an awesome turn- out!! PRAY for me and Brian as we continue to get to know students. PRAY that God uses the effects of this event in a mighty way this year!

We rely on you, our prayer warriors, to join us in the ministry by lifting us up in prayer. We also need people joining us in the ministry by supporting us Xinancially. On October 4th, I am participating in the YFC Golf Marathon. I am looking for people who would be willing to sponsor me as we raise money for ministry in the Homestead community. Whether it is a per hole sponsor, or one time gift, my goal is to raise $3,000. If this is something you are interested in or able to do, let me know...Id love to talk to you more about it!
