How was your weekend?
It was great, I went cycling with some friends and we did 100 kilometers.

Tell me a little bit about yourself?

Sure. My name is Cristian, and I live in Bogota with my wife and my four year old
son.
I am an industrial engineer with a specialization in Strategic Management. I have
about 15 years experience working in Payroll Operations for private companies in
the technology, e-commerce, and internet sectors, managing over 5,000
employees. My expertise lies in leading high-performing payroll teams across
Colombia and Latin American countries, including Argentina, Mexico, and Peru.
Additionally, I have experience working with payroll providers, such as ADP
(Automatic Data Processing), and effectively managed relationships with
stakeholders and employees.
I am passionate about payroll, numbers, salaries, legal matters, taxes, and more. I
am also drawn to the dynamic nature of this profession, especially the opportunity
to assist other employees in understanding their needs and resolving their complex
inquiries.
I am results - oriented with strong analytical and attention to detail skills. I have
excellent communication abilities at all levels and can work effectively in a team.
How did you hear about this position?

What's the achievement you had during your past work experiences.

In my récent work experience, I had the opportunity to achieve significant

accómplishments, such as:
1. Reorganization and alignment of vacation provisions, resulting in a 3 million
decrease while ensuring legal compliance.
2. Successfully leading the outsourcing project for economíc benefits recovery,
increasing monthly íncome from 17,000 to 33,000 dollars and achieving significant
cost savings for the company.
3. Establishing a highly effective work team that made progress in théir career
plans and obtained promotions.
4. Automation of payroll prócesses, optimizing time efficiency and improving
the quality of information.

what skill might you need to improve?

As a Payroll Lead, I´m always looking for ways to improve my related skills,
especially in the data analysis, I need to improve my knowledge in Power BI.
