Equivalent Fractions

Equivalent is another word for equal to or the same. Fractions that are equivalent are equal.
They are different names for the same size parts of a whole or a group. Fractions that do not
name the same size part are not equivalent.

Shade the first shape to show the fraction. Then shade the second shape so that it is equivalent.
Finish the math sentence by writing the fraction for the second shape.
