To qualify for a Class "DI" Security Officer Instructor License, an applicant must:
1) Be at least 18 years old and have either a high school diploma or GED;
2) Have been licensed as a Class "D" security officer for at least 3 of the past 5 years; or
3) Have an associate's degree in a relevant field and have been a licensed security officer for at least 1 year; or
4) Have a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree in education, criminal justice or a related field.
