D. TEACHING PROCEDURES
I. Warm – up: (5’)
- Greeting Ss
- Reciting the chant
II. New lesson:
- T asks Ss to open their book (page 11)
- Lead to the new lesson and introduce the new sentence pattern.
6. Listen and repeat (10’)
- Have Ss look at the picture and answer the questions: Who’s this? ; What’s this?
- Draw Ss to focus on the sentence pattern, explain its meaning and how it is used.

- Play the recording for Ss to listen and repeat.

- Play the recording several times for pupils to listen and repeat the sentence.

- Ss work in pairs to practice.

- Invite a few pupils to listen and repeat the sentence in front of the class. T corrects
pronunciation → giving feedback.

7. Let’s talk (10’)

- Ask Ss to recall items in the pictures.


- Have Ss to use the structure: “I have a ____.” to talk about each item.
- Give each student 1 minute to introduce which things they have. (upper level – Kỹ
thuật trình bày 1 phút)
8. Let’s Sing (8’)
- Have Ss look at the lyrics.

- Explain the meaning of the verses.

- Play the recording several times for Ss to repeat line after line.

- Ss listen and sing a song.

- Have Ss listen to the whole song. → Ss work in group to practice the song

- Call one or two groups to sing the song in front of the class.

- T gives comment.

III. Wrap – up. (4’)


- Play Slap the board game to review.
