Bobcat Fixtures Policies & Procedures
Pricing All prices are subject to change without notice. Please refer to One Stop Shop for the
most current pricing on fixtures.
Shipping Unless otherwise noted, fixtures are drop shipped from the supplier.
Please allow up to 6 - 8 weeks delivery time.
Installation Instructions should be included with your shipment. If instructions were not included,
Instructions they can also be located on Bobcatnet.
In order to quickly resolve any problems with your fixture shipment, please use the following
procedures when handling and reporting any issues.
Shortages Shipment shortages should be notated on bill of lading to ensure proper

documentation. Please report any shipping shortages through normal SDR procedures
within 48 hours of receiving shipment.
Damaged In accordance with current Bobcat Company policy and procedures: Before signing for
Goods your shipment, remove packaging materials (shrink wrap, etc.) to inspect for damages.
Notate any damage on the bill of lading before signing for goods. Fixture
damage reported after receipt may not be eligible for credit. Please file an SDR on
documented damage to obtain credit, and reorder any necessary parts. Please note:
Fixtures should not be returned unless requested. Photos documenting damage
may be requested by the shipper to verify claim. Please retain damaged fixtures until
credit has been issued.
Warranty Most fixtures have a one year manufacturer’s warranty applicable on defects in
material, or workmanship. The manufacturer will repair, or replace, any defective
parts within one year of the original purchase date. Please contact the Bobcat Parts
Merchandising Department to facilitate replacement of defective parts.
Incorrect Orders must be fully inspected for all the correct parts within 30 days of receiving the
Parts order. Replacement of wrong, or missing parts, will only be honored if reported within
30 days from the receipt of goods.

Gondola Fixtures - Two-Sided

Two-sided gondolas (full gondolas) can be used to create merchandising
aisles in your store front. Choose from perf & groove panel units, or pegboard
units. Designed to display a variety of products, gondolas allow for a variety
of display options including shelving and hanging hooks. Units can be used
alone, or extended in length with add-on gondolas. Two-sided gondolas
provide product merchandising space on both sides of the fixture.
Starter kits include uprights, spanners, panels and covers. Add-on kits do not
include end covers. Hooks, shelves, and accessories are sold separately.

Half-gondolas are designed to handle all types of products.
Place them in your parts showroom where only one side of Add-on Half Gondola
merchandising is needed.
Units are easy to assemble and can be customized with
accessories to fit your exact needs. Use as a single
one-sided display, or in a grouping by using add-ons to form
a seamless run.
Each unit includes a black frame & base, white perf &

Wall Decals
Facility branding is a key element in the “Brand Orange” initiative from Bobcat® Company.
When used as an added branding effect in your dealership, the wall decals combined
with “Tailgate Orange” paint create a great visual impact that boldly represents the brand.
Wall decals are die-cut, pre-masked white vinyl and are easy to apply. They are sold in

Lighted display boxes are designed to provide bright illumination and are the economical solution for creating high impact ‘get noticed’
displays. The frames feature a thin design for low profile depth and feature a diffuser for increased brightness. The light box frames
are UL listed and require a standard 110v outlet.
Display boxes can be mounted on the wall individually or hooked to additional boxes (of same size) to create multiple unit
presentations. Self-contained easel legs also allow the boxes to be displayed on a counter or shelf.
A special connector (part no. 6902578) is available to attach the light boxes together for a running wall display. Two connectors are

GENERAL INFORMATION
Madix fixtures are manufactured utilizing the most current technology of highly automated systems
PRODUCTION with process control techniques. Skilled craftsmanship, combined with automatic presses, roll forming
machines, multi-spot welders, conveyers, finishing equipment and thorough inspections produce store fix-
tures of the highest quality.
Carefully engineered of heavy gauge, high quality steel components, the UPRIGHT is slotted one
inch on center for maximum flexibility, shelf adjustability and use of available space. Standard heights
UPRIGHT range from 36" through 96" with built-in leveler. For the finishing touch at the end of the shelving run,
the snap-on UPRIGHT END COVER is made of durable, scuff and impact resistant plastic or heavy
gauge metal. The UPRIGHT CAP, made of high impact plastic, has provision for a sign holder.
The five inch low BASE SHOE features exclusive “I” beam design, engineered of projection welded
high strength steel parts insuring maximum load capacity. Snaps securely into upright with leveler
BASE SHOE and electrical access allowing for quick error free installation. For the finished look, the one piece
slip on BASE END COVER is made with a high impact plastic nose reinforcement to protect
base shelf tag molding.
SPANNERS Snap-in support SPANNERS keep uprights at equal spacing and hold the back panels rigid. Each
spanner has knockouts for electrical access and telescoping uprights.
High density hardboard BACKS fit flush to the face of the upright. A wide variety of finishes include
BACK PANELS
solid, pegboard, woodgrain and fabric in a wide assortment of optional colors. Mirrors and open
backs are also available.
KICKPLATE Fully floating feature of kickplate allows flush fit against uneven floors, snaps in and out without dis-
turbing base shelf for easy cleaning. Convenient knockout accommodates electrical access.
Steel base shelves feature lock tabs to insure quick installation and precision alignment. A double row
of 1/4" inch perforations on the front and rear edge makes any form for binning possible. Slim bracket,
BASE SHELVES high tensile design with flat or 15 degree downslope upper shelf positions allow for maximum mer-
UPPER SHELVES chandise visibility. Integrally formed price tag molding accommodates 11/4" tag. Upper shelves avail-
able in 8", 10", 12", 14", 16", 20", 22", 24", 26", 28", and 30" depths. Base shelves available in 12", 14",
16", 18", 20", 22" 24", 26", 28", and 30" depths.
The recommended load capacity for upper shelves is based on evenly distributed weight. Capacities
SHELF LOADING are reduced by 35% when front half is loaded and reflect rated maximum load. Load capacities are
shown in the General Information Section under Shelf Loading.
All metal parts are finished with a specially formulated high solids or powder which are electrostatically
BAKED ENAMEL, bonded in a unique multi-stage process, to insure the highest quality finish. Aerosol cans of Touch-up
POWDER COAT paint are available in Madix’s standard and optional colors. FAA regulations prohibit the shipment of
FINISHES this product by air or in export containers by air or ocean to countries outside the United States.
When necessary to clean Madix shelving, use a non-abrasive mild detergent and warm water,
followed by thorough drying. The use of a cloth made of a soft white cotton material is strongly
recommended. The use of cleaning products that contain abrasive, bleach, or strong solvents,
such as ketones, ethers, etc. will result in damage to the finish. The damage is most severe
PRODUCT when these harsh cleaning agents are used on colors which contain leafing aluminum pigment such
MAINTENANCE
as powder chrome, silver vein, and other “vein” type finishes. The aluminum in these coatings
resides at the surface of the finish and is therefore susceptible to damage by the harsh cleaning
agents. As an alternative to the mild detergent, cleaners with ingredients similar to those
found in products such as 409, Fantastik, and Simple Green can be used. Caution! Cleaners
having ingredients similar to those found in Ajax, Borax, Comet, etc. should be avoided as fin-
ish damage could result.

Tips & Suggestions
• When setting up, or changing, your product set always make sure that the fixtures are clean.
Fixtures can be easily cleaned by wiping them with a cloth soaked in warm soapy water.
• Dusty and dirty products look bad and can discourage sales - be sure to keep the products that
you have on display clean and eye appealing.
• Front and face products on a regular basis. To front and face, bring products to the front of the
shelf for neat and organized looking sets.
• Rotate your inventory. When restocking product place the newest product to the back of the shelf
and move older product forward. This will aid you in keeping your inventory “fresh”.

• Installation/relocation of gondolas, or wall fixtures, should be supervised exclusively by qualified

personnel.
• Installation sequences must be followed exactly for assembly and leveling.
• Under no circumstances should damaged parts be used.
• Never install shelves, or accessories, on a fixture that has no base.
• Do not permit climbing or standing on shelving at any time... including base shelves.
• Shelves or accessories should not protrude past the front of the base shelf.
• Upright end covers, and base end covers, must always be installed at the end of a run.
• Do not use shelving parts and accessories for any purpose other than originally intended.
• Be sure all shelving parts and accessories are completely seated in slotting or perforations.
• All displayers at a gondola end must have a base shelf, metal end flat, or other type of flat to
prevent collisions with any upper shelves or accessories.
• All load ratings as shown in installation instructions must be carefully followed.
• Do not attempt to relocate merchandised shelves or accessories.
• Never try to move (non-wheeled) fixtures that are completely assembled and/or merchandised
• Product loading instructions are included with each order. Merchandisers must be aware of
possible overloading as specified in these ratings. If you do not receive these, please contact your
customer service representative.
