Edlyn Lafina was born on the fourteenth of July in 2001. Edlyn Lafina is the first and only
daughter of Sanusi and Meliana and is the older sibling of Gerry Nicholas. Her father is from
Medan and her mother is from Jambi, however both Edlyn and her brother were born in Jakarta.

She had an average childhood from when she was young but at the age of 7 years old, she and
her brother were sent off to her aunts and uncles in Jambi. This is because her mother needs
treatment for cancer and she cannot focus on taking care of her children. Edlyn and her brother
lived in Jambi for one year before her mother had gotten better and then they moved back to
Jakarta, with her mother and father.

When she was 14, her mother’s cancer had grown back but this time Edlyn and her brother
were not sent to Jambi again. Unfortunately, her mother’s cancer was too strong and on the 10th
of February 2016, her mother passed away. That same year Edlyn had won an award for having
the second highest score in the national exam and the third highest score overall at her school.
Since then she has studied hard in high school and is currently studying in Bandung’s Institute
of Technology.

Currently she is working as an intern in Procter and Gamble or P&G and is working on her
college thesis in order to graduate. Edlyn has faced many challenges and everytime she has
pulled through and came out being better than before. Truly she is an inspiration to everyone.

Explanation
Falling in love is when someone has a strong connection or attraction towards someone. A
person falling in love will develop romantic desires to be with someone special. Falling in love
itself can be noticed by several characteristics, such as positive emotions and intense feelings.
Every person’s experience with falling in love may differ but usually most of them have similar
reasons.

Attraction plays a big role in falling in love. Attraction itself can be put into two categories,
physical attraction and personality based attraction. Physical attraction focuses on the
appearance of someone and how someone else may feel a certain feeling towards it.
Personality based attraction however is the opposite with it being focused on how someone
behaves and acts towards someone else that can develop interest.

Shared Experience can play a factor in people falling in love. Sharing an experience will create
a bond between people and that bond may develop into feelings. People tend to relate
experience to other people, so if the experience itself is a joyful experience, then the person
may develop feelings or a connection towards one specific person that is involved in the
experience.
Once a person has fallen in love, they will often act a certain way like chasing a desire for a
deeper connection, a shift in their priorities, increased happiness, and increased energy. How a
person behaves may decide if they will get what they want.

Review

“Your Name” or “Kimi no Na wa" is an animated film released on the 26th of August
2016. It was produced by CoMix Wave Films and was directed by Makoto Shinkai. The
music for the movie was provided by Radwimps, a popular Japanese band. The movie
was praised and is highly acclaimed among anime fans and grossed over 382 million
dollars at the box office.

The story of this movie is about Mitsuha Miyamizu and Taki Tachibana with Mitsuha who
wanted to live the life of a boy in Tokyo. One day, Mitsuha awakens in the body of Taki
and elsewhere, Taki finds himself living in Mitsuha’s life. The movie revolves around
these two characters’ actions as they begin to search for one another.

The movie’s art direction is absolutely phenomenal. With the scenery both set in nature
and in the city, the audience can only be amazed by how stunning it looks. Every scene
feels like it has its own atmosphere.

The music in this movie is also a noteworthy piece. RADWIMPS really outdid
themselves with the music they provide. In fact, one of their songs that is included in the
movie, Zenzenzense has reached just below 300 million views on Youtube.

The story progression is also interesting. The plot can also be one of their weaknesses
and also one of their strengths. Because of the vague plotline and the inclusion of
alternate timelines, the audience can be confused on what’s happening on screen and
what is currently going on. But when the audience understands the situation, they can
truly feel the suspense and emotion of the film. With how the story ends, the audience
can only just reflect on themselves and what they just watched.

Your name is a fantastic film with amazing visuals, music and storytelling. The
storytelling may be a bit confusing but once you understand the story, you can see how
powerful it is and how it makes the audience reflect after watching it. Overall I
recommend this film to whoever is interested as it is a great story with brilliant scenery
and music.

The usage of cashless payment has been rising in Indonesia throughout the years. Cashless
payment is a type of payment that uses an e-wallet stored in their phone to make transactions.
E-wallets can vary through platforms, whether it being GO-PAY, OVO, Shopeepay or QRIS.
However, some people have an issue with cashless payment and some even prefer cash
payment instead of the cashless method. E-wallet or cashless payment has their positives and
negatives, but it is up to the user to decide if it’s worth it or not.

The convenience of cashless payment has been marketed towards consumers ever since its
preconception. Having everything done through your phone is a luxury that most of us have
probably experienced. Not only that, the security that e-wallets provide is hard to argue against.
With their encryption technology, e-wallets can protect your personal information as well as
prevent frauds from happening.

That being said, E-wallets have some drawbacks that some people prefer not to deal with. For
example, the overreliance of the internet makes your E-wallet useless if you do not have an
internet connection. Also the use of E-wallets isn’t globally widespread, so there’s a chance that
the shope you’re shopping at doesn’t support e-wallets.

E-wallets are the new technology that is rising in the general public and although it isn’t perfect,
it still has its benefits. The security and the convenience of e-wallets is like no other. But the
reliance of an internet connection and the fact that some shops don't support e-wallets makes
using cashless payment somewhat of a challenge. But to completely deny using e-wallets is just
plain ignorant. New technologies have their flaws, but it will get better over time. By then, people
should've adjusted to e-wallets and accepted it as a new part of our life.

Exposition
Cosmetic companies have been known for testing their products for animals. While activists
have tried to shut it down, these companies are still testing their products on animals to this day.
While regulations and restrictions have forced companies into a less cruel testing method, the
fact of the matter is that testing cosmetic products on animals is still ongoing and it is still cruel
and inhumane. Today I’m going to explain some reasons on why testing cosmetic products on
animals should be prohibited.

People have talked about how cruel it is to test these kinds of products on animals, but does
anyone know what the effects are on animals? Well, the effects on the subject animals may
include but are not limited to skin irritation, blindness, immense pain, distress, and internal
bleeding. Some animals have even died while being tested. And so to say that the animals feel
a little bit of discomfort when being conducted on is a massive understatement.
Another argument on why testing on animals is wrong is how ineffective it is to test the products
on animals. The reason why animal testing is ineffective is solely because human skin is
different from animal skin. Animal skin is often thinner and more permeable than human skin,
which can lead to false positives and false negatives in testing. Animals also do not naturally get
many of the diseases that humans do, so we cannot tell if some diseases that are caused by the
products will affect animals.

With the advancement of technology, alternative testing methods that don't involve animals
have become viable. Testing methods like vitro testing, computer modeling, human volunteers
are now on the rise and with a more cost effective and efficient method of testing.

Thus, the practice of testing cosmetic products on animals is unethical, not to mention that is
also both ineffective and inefficient. A change in method is necessary to create a better product
and a more ethical way of production.
