Let’s run this one under the radar.

This program isn’t something you can buy on the app store.
We’re going to use a generic code compiler app and add the
python code I worte for you into it.
This is average coding at best but hey.. it gets the job done.
A while back I noticed one of these widley availible code com-
pier apps could pass as an off brand notes app, so i ran with
the idea. I love the underground nature of building off-grid
methods like this.

The strength in this method is that the you dont need to have
the stack memorized or do any mental math during the perfor-
mance. The code does all this for you.

At it’s core this is a creativity exercise.

I love playing with this program. Even just performing it for
myself is really fun...that made it worth the work of learning
how to code and build the idea myself.

Start by watching this demo of what the basic program does

then we’ll talk details.
 Now that you have an idea of what the program
does lets break it down into the three parts.

First, you will need a deck in the tameriz stack.

You dont need to have the order memorized for
this illusion just set the deck in the order.

You will need to download the code file I wrote

and you will also need to download the compiler
app from the app store to run the code on your
phone.

Once you have the app on your phone open the

file in the app.

 STORY

The inner story used in

performing this, is that
you have a notes app on
your phone you like to
record data with. It’s a
way of remebering the
magic experince. Also you
record it so nothing get’s
forgotten in the moment...
we all know how easy it is
to forget information on
the spot.
 FULL METHOD

• Deck is cut multiple times to randomize order.
• Cut exactly half the deck to left.
• Cut to middle of left half. Input card.
• Cut to middle of right half. Input card.
• Place right half onto left half.
• Input a first named number up to 20.
• input second named number up to 20.
• Remember two key cards..both will be near middle.
• Cut at first key card and “weight the packets”. State that
“Something is not correct..” reasemble the packets creating
the first invisible cut.
• Spread to center and locate second key card.
• Split top half to the left. Bottom half to right.

• [Cards will now be in target positions]
•
• 1st card at 1st number in left pile. (from magicians POV)
• 2nd card at 2nd number in right pile. (from magicians POV)
