Fuel consumption for T2 G/H-series

This PMI contains information about fuel benchmark between previous generation Volvo Articulated
Haulers and the new G-Series and A60H. This PMI only contains data for Tier 2 machines.

Load factor guide

High: Long haul times with frequently adverse grades. Continuous use on poorly maintained haul roads
with high rolling resistance.

Medium: Average loading zone conditions and frequently maintained haul roads. Normal hauling times
and several adverse grades. Some areas of high rolling resistance.

Low: Large amount of idling. Short to medium hauls on well maintained level haul roads. Minimum total
resistance.

Idling: Measured at lowest idling speed, according to specification.

productive than current A40F. This Engine Stage II / Tier 2
is made possible with a 41% Low (l/h) 25 - 44
higher payload and similar cycle US Gal/h 6.6 - 11.6
times. Medium (l/h) 44 - 67
• The A60H consumes 19% more US Gal/h 11.6 - 17.7
fuel than the A40. High (l/h) 67 - 81
• This makes it 20% more fuel US Gal/h 17.7 - 21.4
efficient.
