(TICAD) Ⅴ Yokohama Action Plan 2013-2017

• ‘There is a need to increase intra-regional trade by


developing growth corridors and supply chains’
• ‘Transport corridors linking major production and
consumption center and providing connectivity among
major cities would facilitate trade, especially for land-
locked countries’
• ‘Development of backbone infrastructure, especially
region-wide transportation corridor, is necessary for
economic development and promotion of the private
sector involvement…’
