Machine Security System (MSS) – Sample Uses

• A customer with a large fleet can equip his machines with MSS and
then provide specific keys to his operators that are programmed to
only allow that operator to work certain machines or to only work at
certain times (hours of the day) or even on particular days.
• MSS can be installed on machines bound for rental fleets and
programmed so that the machine will shut down at the end of the
rental period.
• Customers with machines operating in heavily populated urban areas
can prevent anyone from starting their machine while off duty since
the standard CAT key won’t start a machine with MSS.
– Depending on local regulations and policies, machines may be
eligible for reduced insurance rates
