PARKING BRAKE RELEASE:

For Transmission FNR control to be at the Transmission Control Lever (1) at the Left Side steering wheel.
All following steps are required:

1. Service Brake pressure must be at operating pressure.


2. Transmission Control Lever (1) must be in neutral.
3. Push down on the bottom of the parking brake switch (18) to release the Parking Brake Switch.
4. Place the transmission control lever (1) in either FORWARD or REVERSE to move the machine.

For Transmission FNR control (13) to be at the Right Side of the steering wheel in the hydraulic controller area.
All the following steps are required:

1. Service Brake pressure must be at operating pressure.


2. Left Side FNR of Transmission Control Lever (1) must be in Neutral.
3. Right Side FNR switch (13) must be in Neutral.
4. Machine speed is zero.
5. Engine should be running.
6. Push down on the top of the Transmission Enable Switch ((14) located in the side Console. (The indicator
light on the bottom of the enable switch will illuminate when activated).
7. Push down on the bottom of the parking brake switch (18) to release the Parking Brake. (Must occur within 8
seconds of Enable).
8. Place the right side FNR switch (13) in either FORWARD or REVERSE to move the machine. (Must occur
within 8 seconds of Enable).

ENGINE HOOD

The raise up and close of the hood is electricaly activated


by an electrical cylinder. UP

Emergency solutions if the system is not in order:

If the machine has no power or the battery is too low:


1.Connect the positive jumper cable to the Cab B+ junction post,
located behind the right side cab access door.
2. Connect the negative cable to a proper ground.
The hood may now be operated at the switch.
WARNING: This procedure is not for starting the engine.
Attempting to jump start the engine from this location may cause electrical
and harness damage.

If the machine has power but the actuator is not functioning:


1.Park the machine on level ground, lower the bucket.
Put the transmission in neutral, apply the parking brake.
Shut the engine off.
2.Remove the two actuator mounting bolts at the left rear of the machine
just in front of the battery compartment.
3.Lift and support the hood with suitable equipment.

Jump post (optional)


The battery post jumpers are acessed through the hood switch door.
For correct starting procedure use the operator’s manual page 7 - 99.

On machiche equipped with auxiliairy steering, and battery too low,


a 24V jumper cable (positive) can be connected
on the B+ of the auxiliairy steering motor
and the negative to a proper ground stud.
