    AP Language

    First Quarter, Second Week

    Monday Labor Day

    Tuesday 1. Grammar: 10 minutes


    2. Description: intro to analyzing description
    3. Read On Dumpster Diving, page 27, and Once More to the Lake, page 52, and
    annotate in the book, on paper or on post-it notes. Be prepared to discuss the
    questions that follow each essay but don’t write the essays.

    Wednesday 1. Discuss essays


    2. practice AP: read and plan essay

    Thursday 1. Grammar: 10 minutes


    2. practice AP writing

    Friday - 1. Vocab: 10 minutes


    2. Read, discuss sample essays and rubric; evaluate essays using rubric
