Procedures for dialogues, drills and texts involve the basic tech-
niques of audio-lingual instruction which are likely to be familiar
to instructors using this book. To the extent that special in-
structions are necessary for exploiting these materials to the
fullest, they are given below. Many pictures and illustrations
appear in this book, and their implications for lesson material
have not been fully drawn out. Teachers may find it useful to
build new materials around them.
