photographer needs in their business. And the best part, this is really the start of

HOW TO CUSTOMIZE TEMPLATES:
This document is in view only mode. Please duplicate it and add it to
your own Google Drive, or copy it into a word document. Follow the color
key below to customize each template to your business.

---Red text is is text that needs to be changed every time you send an
email (client names, dates, etc)
---Teal text is text that needs to be changed before you add each
template to your CRM. This text is your story, information about services,
etc.
---Green text is where you need to add your custom links.
---If you just use Command + F to find and replace where it says
VENDORNAME at the bottom of each email, you can pop your name in
super quickly!

HOW TO IMPLEMENT THE TEMPLATES


Once you’ve created your first (of many, I hope!) email templates, it’s time
to start using them! This is where the real magic happens - say hello to
automation! I recommend implementing these templates into a CRM (client
relationship management software) so you can start using them on ALL of
your client projects.

2. What’s Next? (Immediately After Booking)
Subject Line: Here’s what to expect next! (All the important info you need!)
*Sent about 2 days after the contract is signed
*Note, this is an onboarding email sent a few days after they sign the contract.  Based on your workflow and the
experience you provide you should customize the paragraphs below.  I strongly recommend having an onboarding
email so your clients know what’s to come as they begin working with you.  It gives them peace of mind, builds
trust, and is a proactive approach that will reduce dozens of emails from them in your inbox! Being proactive is
one of the keys to a great client experience!!

Hi {Spouse 1 and Spouse 2}!!!

Can I just say, again, how excited I am to work with you guys for your wedding?! (And
helping with everything leading up to it?)

I wanted to shoot you over this email to let you know what you can expect now that
the contract and retainer are all taken care of! So here’s a few things to think about
and/or expect.

Questionnaires. I send 5 questionnaires during our time together.  One will be an


engagement session questionnaire, one a relationship questionnaire, a preliminary
timeline questionnaire, wedding day questionnaire and lastly a vendor
questionnaire.  I send these for a few reasons: 1.) To help us plan the perfect
engagement session for your personalities! 2.) To get to know you even more than
we already have since our first meeting. 3.) To build a preliminary timeline for you to
use as a guide when speaking with your other vendors (a full comprehensive
timeline will be created for you as we get closer to the wedding) 4.) To gather ALL
the wedding info I may possibly need to create your timeline, family formal lists,
group shot lists, and prepare for your wedding day and 5.) To get all of your vendor
information so I can properly credit them on the blog, and social media, as well as
share the final images with them.
Turn around time.  I know this was in your contract, but since that’s a lengthy
document I just wanted to let you know what to expect ahead of time! Engagement
session images will be completed and delivered no later than 3 weeks from your
session.  Weddings will be delivered no later than 10 weeks from your wedding
date, but of course, I’m always trying to get it to you much sooner than that!
The album process.  If you got a wedding or engagement album in your package, I
will be pre-designing it with all my favorite images (which are usually going to be
your favorites too!) and then sending it to you for 3 rounds of revisions.  This just
helps get the process moving forward. You’re welcome to change any (and all)
images that you would like, but I will pre-design it to give you a foundation to work
off of.
Purchasing albums or upgrading your package. If you did not get an album in your
collection and would like to do so after the wedding, you are of course welcome to
do this!  You are locked into the prices you inquired at for each collection up to 6
months after receiving your gallery. If you would like to upgrade to receive an
album after the wedding, you can do that and you will pay the difference between
your collections.  You can upgrade your collection at any time leading up to the
wedding as well.
Engagement sessions.  The second questionnaire I’m going to send you will be all
about the engagement session.  Once we have this, I will be reaching out to offer
dates and times I have available based on the season or month you prefer! You can
expect to receive this questionnaire in the next 2-3 weeks and then we’ll work to
get something on the calendar!  I will help you with some tips and a what to wear
guide once we get closer to your session date.
What to expect next. The first few emails besides this one that I’ll be sending will
have vendor recommendations, timeline tips, and a few other helpful resources. I
will also be sending you my relationship questionnaire in a few days, and I can’t wait
to read your responses!
The help you can expect leading up to the wedding day.  I love helping my
couples with anything I possibly can leading up to the wedding day.  I will be
creating a full, very comprehensive timeline for you about 4 months out from the
wedding day, as well as a family formal list and group shot list (beyond the
wedding party pictures).  So don’t fret about that! I’ve got you covered!

First, I just wanted to say thank you for having me there to capture all the memories
and moments of your special day. Your wedding was SO much fun and I’m so honored
that I got to document and be a part of your celebration. 

Hopeeeefully, you’re not reading this on your honeymoon but I just wanted to touch
base real quick to let you both know what you can expect from here on out! 

1. First thing, I am absolutely in awe over your images! I couldn’t wait to get started on
them and when they’re ready you’ll be the first to know! Just a reminder that your final
online gallery will be ready no later than __ weeks from now as your contract states.

 2. When your gallery is delivered, I’ll walk you through the next steps of this journey
together and help you navigate the items you have the option to order (or the items
you did order that are included in your contract.) 

3. Your blog will be up soon so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, have a GREAT
TIME on your honeymoon! Have a drink for me! ;)

1. To access your photos, use the link below. Once you open the gallery, it should
prompt you with instructions on how to navigate all the buttons and what they all
do.
2. You can view, download, share to social media, share via email, and order prints
through this gallery! You can also save your favorite photos for future prints or
album design in your own designated favorites folder.
3. The gallery is categorized by section, so make sure you go through each one! The
first section is my "favorites" and is basically just all the pictures that are on the blog!
4. If you click the shop button, you will be redirected to a custom shop just for your
photos. IT'S SO COOL. You'll be able to see your pictures on the products
themselves to see what they'll look like. It has everything from prints, albums,
canvases, framed prints, calendars, and more. The prints will ship directly to you (or
your family) or whoever orders them which makes it oh-so-convenient and they are
