Face 2 310° 10’ 310°10’ 129°30’ 9’ 129°39’
(say b)
Difference between a & b 240° 0’ 240°0’ 120°0’ 0’ 120°0’

Result: Difference in angle θ= Difference between a and b in Vernier 1 –

Difference between a and b in Vernier 2 = 240° - 120° = 120°
∴ Angle of Prism = θ/2 = 60°
Conclusion: We infer that from the angle formed between two refracted rays
by the light propagated on the prism, upon halving the same angle we obtain
the required prism angle i.e. 60°.
