COMPLETE MINUTES OF THE MEETING

The meeting started sometime past 12 pm at NITDA IT Hub’s Conference Room 2.

We started with the aim of brainstorming new projects for the hub and the IoT ecosystem.
We began by listing out problems faced both large and small scale and suggested possible
solutions to these problems. These problems include:
1. Poverty
2. Low standard of living
3. Insecurity/Kidnappings
4. Financial crimes
5. Fake products
6. Energy, power, and renewable systems
7. Poor network
8. Misinformation

● Ebubechukwu Ik-Idoko brought the idea of having an investor to start an

electricity-powered transport company for most advisably interstate transportation.
“Strategy surpasses power”, “Go big or go home”.
● Shalom suggested a teleportation system.

Other solutions were:

1. Smart power system/Utility management system/Lighting
2. Automatic shop registers (Automatic receipt to emails and expense tracking)
 3. Better network systems
4. Food modification
5. Educational opportunities (Free access to the internet for good and educational content)
6. Amber alert (Could use a camera to detect unsafe weapons, activities, and movement)
7. Implementing OpenAI’s APIs to create an AI for further academic research and
assistance
8. Implementing cyber literacy (Use of onboarding guides)
9. Assistance for people to see the board (Use of projectors and cameras)
10. Centralized payment for all campus services with the use of school I.D cards

We decided to go home and have Abdulqowiyyu assign tasks to us based on the suggested
solutions but with the idea that we still have pending tasks to complete. The Deputy Director
also advised us to put in a lot of effort this month as we won’t have a time like this again this
year.

The meeting ended sometime past 4 pm.
