Using proprietary CAT fuel injectors, fuel is either
mechanically or hydraulically injected with a number
of controlled microbursts.
• Fuel is introduced to the combustion chamber in a
number of controlled microbursts to precisely regulate the
combustion process. The result is a more complete burn
at lower temperatures. This reduces emissions while
maintaining engine performance and fuel efficiency.

with fuel delivery. The fuel injectors are unique and a
proprietary design of Caterpillar.
