OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS 18 YEARS OLD AND UP AT

GUADALUPE BARANGAY HALL AND PARTNERED STORES AND SHOPS

BY: LIELANIE B. SABAY

Introduction
This proposal seeks to create part-time/full-time employment opportunities for students aged
18 years old and above in Guadalupe Barangay Hall and partnered stores and shops. By offering
suitable job opportunities, we aim to provide financial support to students, enhance their
professional skills, and foster a sense of responsibility and independence.
Objectives
1. Financial Support for Students: The primary objective is to provide financial assistance
to students, enabling them to meet their educational expenses and reduce the burden
on their families.
2. Skill Development: Offer opportunities for students to acquire valuable skills and
practical experience in a professional work environment, enhancing their future
employability.
3. Strengthen Community Ties: Foster a stronger bond between the youth and the
community by engaging them in meaningful work within the barangay and local
businesses.
Scope of the Project
The proposed project will involve collaborating with Guadalupe Barangay Hall and local stores
and shops to identify suitable part-time or full-time positions for students. The positions could
include administrative tasks, customer service, sales, inventory management, and other
relevant roles applicable for students of junior high school up to college level.
Implementation Plan
1. Engaging Partners: Reach out to Guadalupe Barangay Hall and local businesses to
discuss the idea of offering part-time/full-time positions for students. Highlight the
benefits of hiring students and explain how it can positively impact the community.
2. Job Role Identification: Conduct a needs assessment to determine the types of positions
that can be made available for students. Tailor these roles to align with students'
schedules and interests.
3. Skill Enhancement: Collaborate with local educational institutions to offer workshops
and training sessions for students, enhancing their job-readiness and professional skills.
4. Recruitment Process: Establish a fair and transparent recruitment process to select
suitable candidates for the positions. Ensure equal opportunities for all eligible students.
5. Monitoring and Support: Implement a monitoring system to assess the students'
performance and provide necessary support and guidance during their employment.
6. Workplace Environment: Ensure a safe and supportive work environment that complies
with labor laws and prioritizes the well-being of the students.
Budget
Develop a comprehensive budget, taking into account recruitment costs, training expenses,
compensation for students, and any other associated costs. Seek financial support from the
barangay and local businesses to cover the project's expenses.
Sustainability Plan
To ensure the sustainability of the project, the following strategies will be adopted:
1. Promoting Success Stories: Highlight success stories of students who have benefitted
from the program to encourage continuous support from the community and
businesses.
2. Feedback and Improvements: Gather feedback from students and partnering
establishments to make necessary improvements to the program's effectiveness.
3. Establishing Partnerships: Forge long-term partnerships with local businesses and
educational institutions to create a continuous pipeline of opportunities for students.
Conclusion
The proposed initiative to provide part-time/full-time employment opportunities for students at
Guadalupe Barangay Hall and partnered stores and shops is a crucial step towards supporting
the youth in our community. By investing in their financial and professional growth, we believe
we can create a stronger, more resilient, and empowered future generation. We seek the
support and collaboration of all relevant stakeholders to make this project a reality and
positively impact the lives of the youth in Guadalupe.
We are open to further discussions, questions, and potential partnerships to bring this noble
endeavor to fruition. Together, we can build a better future for our students and the entire
community.
