3. How have these uses transformed the way we live, work, and communicate?
Classroom Activities
Begin the class with a brief discussion about the Internet. Ask students to share their
understanding of what the Internet is and some of the common uses they are already aware
of.
Engage the students in a brainstorming session on how the Internet can be used to solve real-
life problems and make a positive impact on society.
Encourage creative thinking and diverse perspectives.
Assessment
1. Diagnostic assessment:
Conduct a pre-assessment survey or quiz to assess students' familiarity with the different
uses of the Internet. The survey can include multiple-choice questions, short-answer
questions, or a combination of both.
Example Questions:
What is the Internet?
Name three common uses of the Internet in daily life.
2. Formative assessment:
Administer short quizzes throughout the learning process to check understanding and
identify areas that may need further clarification.
3. Summative assessment:
The summative assessment evaluates students' overall understanding and mastery of the
topic "Uses of the Internet." Assign students a project or presentation where they research
and explore a specific use of the Internet in-depth. They should analyze its significance,
potential benefits, and drawbacks.
