GROUP PROJECT: COMPANY ANALYSIS

1. Each group to select ONE (1) public listed company.

2. This project require you to assume the role of consultant in the company you have selected.
• Key areas to examine:
- Management
- Operating performance
- Financial performance (3 years)
✓ Price-to-earnings ratio, Price-to-book value ratio, Debt-to-equity ratio, Operating
profit margin, EV/EBITDA, Price/Earnings growth ratio, Return on equity, Interest
coverage ratio, Current ratio, Asset turnover ratio, and Dividend yield
• The impacts of COVID-19
• Identify areas (issues/problems) that need improvement

3. Presentation/Report guideline:
• Oral Presentation
• Written report is to be submitted on 26 July 2021 before 5pm via Brighten.
• Written report format:
- Length: Not more than 20 pages (including cover page, table of contents and
references)
- Font style and size: Times New Roman, 12 points
- Line spacing: Single
- Page setup: Letter (8.5” x 11”)
- Print setup: Letter (8.5” x 11”)
- Margin: Normal

press releases, exhibitions, websites, site visits, annual reports, the internet, newspapers,
analysts' reports, market research companies and interviews.
