Goodevening, I am Julius Ledesma, a visual artist, musician, and the owner

of Grilltown PH. Today, I will introduce to you Grilltown PH. Grilltown is a casual

dining restaurant which serves a fusion of Southern Filipino cuisine with cooking

techniques from foreign countries like the united states for their traditional

methods of smoking and grilling meat. Grilltown is an al fresco restaurant with

suburban design with rustic art on the walls. Our target market are teenagers and

adults that like to spend most of their time with their friends and families who

likes traditional and homemade cooked meals outside their homes after working

hours.

Grilltown is in the business for almost 3 years. It started with a very small

grill that serves Hungarian sandwiches on the streets. A year after, we added

several items to the menu and a dining area. It did not go that well at first but as

time progresses so does Grilltown. I had a lot of flaws back then, but with my

passion for food and the struggle to make those mistakes right, people are now

recognizing our food with its own taste and goodness.

Right now, we are aiming for the larger market because we have a mission.

Build a better community with an appreciation for traditionally cooked meals and

support for the local artists and various art industry. Through my experience with

the music and art industry for several years and my current experience with

Grilltown PH, I learned that art does not confine itself to only visual and musical

limitation. Art is the representation of the individual and their society and not just

for art itself. Art serves as a drive for the people to uplift their daily lives for the

better. We can build a better community through an appreciation of art and

sustainable culture.

Cooking is also an art and like art, it takes time. When you serve food, it not

just about giving the best taste or what makes you full. What makes food an art,

is the experience. The experience of getting all of your senses active and running.

Grilltown will be a platform for various local artists to express themselves and

that will be the additional experience that the guests will have.
