Contribution of Philippine Art to the world

For some, art can be something that is not so important. Unfortunately, a lot of people
have no interest in art at all. However, I can say that Art, especially Philippine art, contributed
so much to the world. Po

The execution of My City, My Sm, My art is one of their way to collaborate the
community with art. They aim to show the culture of the Filipinos to the younger generations in
order for them to be conscious of what the world is like. The project does not only promote,
but as well as empower art in our country. Because being able to make art available to
everybody would set forth a substantial impact not just for the individuals involved, but as for
the community as well. As a part of the generation z, I am interested to walk around a mall that
offers both community centered activities and art. It would be great if my friends and I can
enjoy the view of the art made by different artists while trying to accompany ourselves with a
little chitchat and the food. For me, art is most fun to appreciate when you are with someone
or with people that means a lot to you. To appreciate art together with the people you love is
something too beautiful to imagine. It was made possible to My City, My Sm, My Art, because
the project was meant for everybody regardless of one’s interest in art.
