Introduction
The Cellular telephone is a long-range, portable electronic device used for mobile communication.

In addition to the standard voice function of a telephone, current mobile phones can support many

additional services such as SMS for text messaging, email, packet switching for access to the

Internet, and MMS for sending and receiving photos and video. Most current mobile phones connect

to a cellular network of base stations (cell sites), which is in turn interconnected to the public

switched telephone network (PSTN) (the exception is satellite phones. Cellular telephone is also

defined as a type of short-wav analog or digital telecommunication in which a subscriber has a

wireless connection from a mobile telephone to a relatively nearby transmitter. The transmitter's

span of coverage is called a cell. Generally, cellular telephone service is available in urban areas and

along major highways. As the cellular telephone user moves from one cell or area of coverage to

another, the telephone is effectively passed on to the local cell transmitter. A cellular telephone is not

to be confused with a cordless telephone (which is simply a phone with a very short wireless connection to a

local phone outlet). A newer service similar to cellular is personal communications services (PCS).

History of mobile phone

Although most of us feel like we couldn't live without our mobile phones, they've not really been in
existence for very long.

In fact, mobile phones as we know them today have only been around in the last 20 years.

When were mobile phones invented?

Mobile phones, particularly the smartphones that have become our inseparable companions today,
are relatively new.
However, the history of mobile phones goes back to 1908 when a US Patent was issued in Kentucky
for a wireless telephone.

Mobile phones were invented as early as the 1940s when engineers working at AT&T developed
cells for mobile phone base stations.

The very first mobile phones were not really mobile phones at all. They were two-way radios that
allowed people like taxi drivers and the emergency services to communicate.

Instead of relying on base stations with separate cells (and the signal being passed from one cell to
another), the first mobile phone networks involved one very powerful base station covering a much
wider area.

Motorola, on 3 April 1973 were first company to mass produce the first handheld mobile phone.

These early mobile phones are often referred to as 0G mobile phones, or Zero Generation mobile
phones. Most phones today rely on 3G or 4G mobile technology.

The Global Cellular Mobile Industry

The global mobile phone industry is based on many different manufacturers and operators. The
industry is based on advanced technology and many of the manufacturers are operating in different
industries, where they use their technological skills, distribution network, market knowledge and
brand name. Large manufacturers of mobile phones who are today dominating the global mobile
phone industry; Samsung, Nokia, Apple, LG, Sony, Lenovo etc. In addition to these companies there
are many manufacturers that operate globally and locally.

Mobile Industry in Bangladesh

Key Players of the Smartphone Ecosystem in Bangladesh:

Samsung, a South Korea based company, is the market leader in the smartphone industry of
Bangladesh The company’s sales grew 203% YoY (year-over-year) in 2019 helping it capture the
top spot for the first time in Bangladesh New product models and optimized local assembly were
the key reasons behind Samsung’s growth. Diversifying the portfolio also helped Samsung as the
smartphones dominated their respective price bands. Galaxy J series operates in the entry-level
market with affordable devices built with low-cost hardware whereas the Galaxy A series brings
upper mid-range smartphones built with comparatively more expensive materials. The Galaxy S
and Note series are the two flagship lineups of Samsung.

Symphony started its journey to become the general people’s local brand. Competitive pricing
strategy, adaptation of innovation and the largest nation-wide distribution of over 17,000 outlets
have contributed to the success of the company.

Walton offers locally manufactured smartphones with adaptation of the features in the best
smartphone brands. The company offers industry-level features at an affordable cost taking
advantage of local manufacturing and assembling with subsequent availability of cheaper
alternatives.

Xiaomi of China is one of the prominent international players in the smartphone industry of
Bangladesh. Consumers appreciate the brand for the perfect combination of affordability and
quality it offers. This was reflected in the 165% YoY shipment growth of Xiaomi smartphones to
Bangladesh in 2019.

Market Analysis
We always concern about customer satisfaction. In our business strength are all important feature
brings with together in smartphone. In our competitive advantage provide lots of feature include
in the phone and such kind of feature never deliver others industry. A market analysis is a
thorough assessment of the current market. Once completed you’ll have a better understanding of
the volume and value of the market, potential customer segments, and their buying patterns, the
competition, barriers to entry, and industry regulations. Once I have in-depth knowledge of your
market, I’ll be better positioned to develop products and services that my customers are going to
love. And while diving into market research may seem like a daunting task it can be broken up
into four simple elements:

i. Industry Overview: I will describe the current state of my industry and where it is
headed.
ii. Target Market: Who are my actual customers? I’ll detail how many of them are there,
what their needs are, and describe their demographics.
iii. Competition: Describe my competitors’ positioning, strengths, and weaknesses.
iv. Pricing and forecast: My product pricing will help determine how you position my
company in the market, and your forecast will show what portion of the market you hope
to get.

Define Target Customers:

My target customers are most important sector for my new product. Because we categories our
product in three different types categories people .First one for general people, second- people
who love to play game and last one for whom, who loves to click photo . I also need to start
broadly and refine my research by defining the following elements.

● Market size
Page 12

Unlike industry size, which is usually measured in dollars, my market size is how many potential
customers there are for my product or service. We’ve got a great method for figuring out the
market size that you can read about here.

● Demographics
Describe customer’s typical age, gender, education, income, and more. If I could paint a picture
of your perfect customer, this is where I’ll describe what they look like.
Age: Above twelve.
Gender: Both male and female.
Education: Does not matter.
Income: Middle, Upper middle, and High class.

● Location
Where are the customers located? Bangladesh is selected for my new product. I may even find
that the customer base is segmented based on location which can help me to determine where I’ll
be doing business.

● Psychographics
It’s here that I need to get inside the mindset of my customers, know their needs, and how they’ll
react. What are your customers’ likes and dislikes? How do they live? What’s their personality?
This piece can even help me better approach analyzing the competition.

There are five psychographic segmentation variables on the basis of which homogeneous
segments can be prepared for proper research –  Personality, Lifestyle, Social Status, AIO
(Activities, Interests, Opinions), and Attitudes.
● Personality:

Market researchers can conduct a segmentation based on personality to form a group of people
with similar personality traits. Customer personality and purchasing habits are strongly related.
For businesses to develop products that add value to customers based on their habitual needs – is
key towards creating a successful product/service
Page 13

An organization can use this psychographic segmentation variable to develop products according
to most of the customers’ personalities which can help in boosting sales.

● Lifestyle:
Various resources have to be invested if multiple products are to be created for multiple markets.
But, product resources can be saved if segmentation is done on the basis of lifestyle, product
development can be made more credible.

● Social status:
In most cases, the social status of people primarily decides the products they use and their
preferences (in general). Each social class has their choice of clothes, shoes, food, cars,
electronics etc. This segmentation type can be helpful for brands that have a niche
product/service to offer which will not be helpful to all social classes.

● Activities, interests, and opinions:

This psychographic segmentation is based on what activities are the customers inclined towards,
which topics are they enthusiastically interested in or what are their opinions about specific
matters. These parameters are called AIO (Activities, Interests and Opinions).  Depending on the
preferred activity, a researcher can determine preferred products and services and build
marketing strategies to cater to varied activities, interests, and opinions.

● Behaviors
This is essentially an extension of some of your psychographic information. Explain how my
customers shop for and purchase products like yours.

● Trends
Customer behavior is always changing. If there are trends that you’ve noticed with your target
market, detail them.

Market Competition
Page 14

My market analysis isn’t complete without thinking about other competition. Beyond knowing
what other businesses, I competing with, a good competitive analysis will point out competitors’
weaknesses that I can take advantage of. With this knowledge, I can differentiate myself by
offering products and services that fill gaps that competitors have not addressed. There is two
kind of competition.
1. Direct Competition
2. Indirect Competition
Direct competition means how much my product offering similar features and services to
customers.
On the other hand, indirect competition is how much creative my product is and what’s very new
services my product offering to the customers that other company’s product are not offered.

▪ If we look Vivo Y12s. It is a budget friendly phone. It’s price approxim ately 13,000 BDT.
It has 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5000mAh battery, 15MP Font camera and 8MP Selfie Camera
and processor has Helio P35.

▪ On the other hand, Oppo A5s which is budget friendly also it is gamming phone. It’s price 11,499
BDT. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 4230mAh battery 13MP Font camera and 6MP Selfie
Camera and Octa core processor.

Though this 2 types of phones has a good processor but they have problem in their Battery and Camera.
Here 2 company give to not same features. That’s time as a customer don’t take to fulfill their demand.
Here our product is different from them. Because we have some option for our customer which is they can
customized their phone according to their needs.

Organization and Management

Our organization structure will be run as like divisional organization structure. There activities
will be research around the market, product, specific group of customers etc.

manage each and every sector of an organization. Our vice precedent will manage talent
acquisition, talent management. Directors will handle employee board, tanning, Facilities. Then
Manager training, facilities, Payroll, benefits etc. In each part they have their own team to work
on. And every sector has an HR department.

Marketing and Sales

In my company marketing strategy are different. First of all, we are new organization so more
focus how to connect people through marketing strategy. Popular road side billboard, doing
campaigns in special offer, Tv advertisement. Funding requesting: First of all, we concern
funding in SME loan well known financial company. Next five-year concern. I already say that
this is a new company and the product is also new. Many people won’t know about the device
and the company. So, we have to marketing and sell the product in a tricky style. We have to
make promotions for the product to reach the tech new idea to the peoples. For our better
marketing we can do 10 things which are given below.

i. Organize a pre-launch giveaway

ii. Increase your organic visibility
iii. Create shareable content
iv. Take a chance with remarketing
Page 18

v. Create a recommendation system

vi. Optimize your website speed
vii. Establish relationships with influencers
viii. Take care of your customer service
ix. Prepare your FAQ before launching your product
x. E-mail marketing

And for the product promotion we can do,

i. Billboard
ii. Online advertisement
iii. Campaigns different places
iv. Growing opportunity for EMI service
v. TV advertisement

Funding Request
First of all, we have to take loan from a known person who works in a well know bank. For the
reason that person takes less interest rate from us. For the business we take loan from ONE Bank
Ltd. which is Project Finance SME loan. We get 1 crore from the bank and each partner donate
25lac. Now the total amount is 2 crores. We calculate how we utilize the money for the next five
years. Calculation given below,

Land 23,500,00lac

Office Equipment 5,000,00lac

Decoration 1,500,00lac

Production Equipment 53,000,00lac

Maintenance Cost-18, 0000 (Per month) 9,000,00lac

Page 19

Product Promotion, Campaign-5,800,00lac (Per month) 29,000,00lac

Employee Salary-1080000 (Per month) 54,000,00lac

Page 20

Financial Projection

A chart is given below which will how us our expenditure, lose/gain profit.

Total amount is 2 crore taka only. If we follow the marketing and sales what we have plan then
for the next 5 year the sell will be,
