 About Parul University

 About Faculty of Management Studies:

The Faculty of Management Studies- Under its umbrella we have three MBA programs
and one Bachelor in Business Administration program.

The Faculty adopts a practical learning approach- pedagogy combine's fieldwork, case
studies and instrumented feedback with a strong emphasis on concepts and theory. The
intent is to encourage intellectual curiosity and holistic perspective to the adventure of
ideas.

 About Workshop
The aim of the Workshop is to bring together researchers and Management Students who
want to employ various statistical tools. It aims to provide a platform for discussing topics
related with research methodology and their applications. This Workshop would provide
hands-on experience for in-depth understanding of Cross Sectional Data, and its
application to Social Science. The participants will get a good training through RStudio.
This workshop will be conducted in a highly interactive manner with greater emphasis
on giving participants hands-on experience in handling, analyzing and interpreting
different datasets for modeling and analysis.

 Pedagogy
A mix of pedagogical tools will be used- cases, lectures, discussions, presentations and
experiential exercises. Hands on experience will be given on R- Software. Participants will
be provided with the relevant industry example data sets for the purpose of analysis in
order to facilitate the experiential learning.

The program is designed for research scholars and Management Students of business
schools, industrialists interested in doctoral or other research work in the area of
management (and other behavioral science areas such as Marketing / HR / Commerce/
Applied Management / Psychology / Sociology / Public Administration/Hotel

 About Resource Person

Dr. Miklesh Yadav is an Assistant Professor at Fortune Institute of

International Business, New Delhi. He has work experience of nine
years. He has contributed acclaimed publications in ABDC and
Scopus indexed Journal. Dr. Yadav has delivered more than 50 days
lectures as resource person in various
FDP/MDP/Session/Additional Student Acquisition courses
conducted by University of Delhi, GGSIPU, FIIB Delhi, Amity
University, Kurukshetra University, Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila University, GVM Girl
College, RDIAS-Delhi, CDAC Noida and others. He has conducted more than 20 Faculty
Development Programme as a FDP Convener. He has created YouTube Channel on his
own name “Miklesh Yadav” where he has uploaded 91 videos covering Time Series, Panel
Data Analysis and Event Study Methodology.

Dr. Neelu Tiwari, Associate Professor, 23 years of teaching and

research experience. Teaching subjects are Quantitative
Techniques (Operations Research / Business Statistics), Business
Analytics. Dr. Neelu has authored two books and 30 research
papers presented/published in national and International
journals.

Note: -Participants are advised to bring their personal laptops for hands-on
session. A free trial version of R-Studio will be loaded by us on their laptop.

Time: 9:30 am to 4:15pm

 Certification
All participants shall be awarded with certificates of participation after the
completion of the program.

Accommodation will be provided in the campus on paying basis.
