Who is Grinch?

The Grinch is described as hating any fun. He is very selfish, cunning,
conniving and manipulative, so he especially hates children, holidays and
singing. He also shows himself very hateful, uncaring, heartless, aggressive
and abusive toward his dog named Max, whom he makes wear reindeer
antlers and pull his sleigh.

In the movie, the reason for his hatred of the Grinch was because of his
bullying of other children for his appearance.

As a child, the Grinch arrived in Whoville by mistake and was taken in by two
elderly sisters. However, he was an outcast at school and endured bullying
from his classmates, especially Augustus Maikto. The only student who
showed the Grinch any compassion was Martha May, whom the Grinch fell
in love with. On Christmas Day, the Grinch decided to give Martha a present,
but he also tried to shave his beard, accidentally hurting his face. When the
school saw the Grinch's face smeared with razor tape the next morning,
everyone started laughing at him. At this point, the Grinch finally couldn't
take it anymore and broke everything in the classroom (including the
present he had made for Martha) and threw the Christmas tree at the
children. Declaring that he now hated Christmas, the Grinch left Whomgrad
and fled to live on the mountain.
