METHOD OF WORK

1. The Loading and Unloading Machine

The drilling rig is planned to be unloading from the truck using the triangle (tripod). The
Tackle with capacity of 2~3 ton is used as the lifter portable (on site). The Rig will be lifted
up from the tailgate in a engine condition of turn off, once after that the rig will lift down to
the ground close to the drilling position. The manual unloading will be monitored and
inspected by supervisor.

The plastic sheet will be used on the ground surface as the base of the Rig. This plastic sheet
is planned to avoid the oil leaking potential which can be happened during the drilling works.

2. Construction method of Assembly and Dismantle of Penetration (Tripod) Machine

The triangle (tripod) that will be used in these drilling works using the galvanize pipe by
diameter of 3 inch. These tripod is consist of six (6) separate section by around 3.00 m length
for each. The tripod will be installed on the ground, connected, and lock by the nuts and bolt
in each join then connected together on the top position. After all the conection joint is
checked on the ground then the triagle is setting to be stand up position. The two feet of
triangle will be lock and tied using a wood or pipe beam to limit and void their movement.

3. Water treatment method when sludge/bentonite happen during construction

The water supply is used along the drilling process as the drilling fluid. The water that is used
is the clean water and ones after the drilling work finished the mud that is formed on site will
be cleaned and bring them out from the area. The plastic drum can be used as the mud
container also during the drilling works.
4. During Construction; How to supply water and electricity

The water supply can be done by way to bring the water from the warehouse or buy the water
from the closest sources which possible to be reached. The electricity or power electricity
supply using the diesel engine (Dongfeng engine or the like). The spec is described below :

Step Work procedure

1. Mobilization Work

Before the fieldwork begins, mobilization or drilling equipment and materials and personnel
are carried out to the drilling location. This mobilization phase is carried out in stages
according to the needs of the field.

2. Site Preparation Work

At this stage of the work includes:

a. Cleaning, leveling and hardening of the location for the position of the drilling machine
support.
b. Making mud tanks, control tanks and gutters for drilling mud circulation.
c. Planting a safety casing as deep as 1-2 m at the position of the bore point if the topsoil
formation that will be drilled is a layer of formation that is easily stiff.
d. Settings of the drilling machine along with the tower (rig), tuning (setting) of the mud
pump along with the hose.
e. Water supply and stirring drilling mud for circulation drilling.

3. Drilling Stage

Drilling to a depth of 150 cm then proceed with taking a UDS (Undisturb Sample) along
45cm to do a lab test on a UDS sample, do this process 3x or as needed at each depth of 1.50 -
2 m, 3.50 - 4 m, 5.50 - 6 m and so on.
After that, take the SPT (Standard Penetration Test) data at every 2 m interval, to determine
the level of soil hardness.
Perform this process during drilling to a certain depth / on demand.
