Dismantling
1. Remove the piston ring from the end plate.

2. Remove the bolts from the end plate.

Note
The bolts are secured with thread-
thread-locking adhesive.

3. Remove the end plate using Kukko 15-1 and two M10 puller bolts or other similar equipment.

4. Remove the bearing using Kukko 15-4 and 18-4 or other similar equipment.

8. Remove the engaging sleeve.

9. Rotate the shaft through 180º.

10. Remove the bearing and gear using Kukko 15-3 and 18-3 or other similar equipment.

Assembling
14. Clean and inspect the parts and change any that are damaged.
Use compressed air to blow the shaft's oil passages clean.

18. Heat the bearing to about 100 degrees and fit it in place.

Note
When it has cooled down, drive the bearing against the shoulder.
