MCB Events for approval:

1. Grandparent’s Day (July 23)

- Enthronement of the images of Joaquim and Anne with Mary at the sanctuary
- At all masses, ask the help of the Greeters and Collectors to pin a ribbon to
grandparent pilgrims/mass goers.
- Blessing of lolos and lolas in all masses.
- The ribbon on the lolo and lolas will serve as a pass or a sign for the Manila
Cathedral volunteers whom they will be serving a particular give away/gift.

2. Serviam: Remembering the Service and Love of Cardinal Sin

- Exhibit of memorabilia and words of Cardinal Sin
- Proposed location: St. Jude Chapel (stained glass depicting EDSA Revolution)
- Materials from Fr. Jun Sescon and Punta Parish
- Duration: August 31 – September 10, 2023

3. Exhibit for Cardinal Santos

- Memorabilia care of Fr. Jason Laguerta
- Location: Blessed Souls Chapel
- Duration: September 3 – September 17, 2023

4. Birthday of Mama Mary

- Masses
- Enthronement of the Bambina Maria (if there’s some)
- Offering of cakes to be given to children/charity houses.

5. Pipe Organ Concert

- Possible Date: October 21, 2023
- Theme: songs, liturgical music, inspirationals that were known or were
composed during the pandemic
- Possible guests: Bukas Palad, Hangad, MCB choir, Romar Chuca, etc.
- Probable team-up: JESCOM

6. Vocation Campaign
- Possible date: Sundays of October
- Invite OLGMS, SCS, LMI, HASS
- Invite religious: OP, SJ, OFM, RVM, SPC
- Friendship tables outside the cathedral

7. All Souls Day/All Saints Day

- Reserve the blessed Souls chapel
- Blessed souls envelopes
- If possible, we can set up a TV near the Pieta where names of the dead could
be flashed in repetition.
- Small candles for offering and prayers for the dead.
- Short prayer of commendation after post-communion prayer from November
1 – 9, 2023.
