Past events
The Pick Me Up Presentation for Mrs. Stubbs on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 was held where
pictures were taken of this event. This event was done in honor of Alzhemier’s Day on
Wednesday, September 21st, 2022

Current Events:
The Social Media team has been reorganized and has their jobs in place. They have already
begun helping out with the other teams and will continue to assist them.

We are now in the process of having the Birthday System set up so we can wish all those who
have birthdays in the month of October will wake up to birthday messages.
The Birthday System is where a list of those whose birthdays are in each month of the year is
sent into the Social Media Team Groupchat. The list will have each anchor’s birthday date for
those in that month. This way when the anchor’s birthday comes around they are able to receive
many birthday blessings.

The Fundraising Division is having an ongoing event to show our full support for our breast
cancer fighters and survivors by rocking our pinks. This will be done every Saturday. You must
dress up in a pretty pink outfit and post a picture of it in the anchor group chat with the caption “I
support breast cancer awareness” .

Starting on Sunday October 2nd, 2022, Mental Health Awareness Week will begin. During this
week anchors are encouraged to post a positive quote or scripture during this week. The
deadline for this will be Saturday, October 8th, 2022.

Upcoming Events
Anchor Installation Event will be held Saturday, October 8th, 2022 where everyone will be
officially installed, making it mandatory to show up.

World Mental Health Day is on Monday, October 10th, 2022 and on that day you will be asked
to define a mental health issue in the chat and list ways on how to cope with it
