SENSORS

1.HEART BEAT SENSOR: In a medical context, a heart rate sensor, also known as a cardiac
monitor or heart rate monitor, refers to a medical device used to measure and monitor a
patient's heart rate continuously or periodically. It is an essential tool in clinical settings for
evaluating a patient's cardiovascular health and detecting any abnormalities in heart rhythm
or rate.

2. Temperature sensor: A temperature sensor is a device used to measure and monitor a

patient's body temperature accurately and quickly. It is a critical tool in healthcare settings as
changes in body temperature can indicate various health conditions and guide medical
diagnoses and treatment decisions.

Accurate and timely temperature measurements are essential for diagnosing and managing
various medical conditions, such as infections, inflammation, heatstroke, hypothermia, and
monitoring the progress of patients during treatment. The type of temperature sensor used
will depend on the specific medical situation and the desired level of accuracy and
convenience. Medical professionals carefully follow standardized protocols to ensure proper
usage of temperature sensors and maintain patient safety and comfort during the process.

3. Blood pressure sensor: A blood pressure sensor in the medical field refers to a device used
to measure a patient's blood pressure. Blood pressure is the force exerted by the blood
against the walls of the arteries as it circulates through the body. It is a critical vital sign that
provides essential information about the cardiovascular health of an individual.

Accurate blood pressure measurement is crucial for diagnosing and managing hypertension
(high blood pressure) and other cardiovascular conditions. Regular monitoring of blood
pressure helps in identifying potential health issues, guiding treatment decisions, and
promoting overall cardiovascular health. For clinical accuracy and proper interpretation of
blood pressure measurements, it is essential to use calibrated and validated blood pressure
sensors and follow standardized measurement protocols.

4. Blood oxygen content sensor: A blood oxygen content sensor, also known as a pulse
oximeter, is a medical device used to measure the oxygen saturation level in a person's
blood. Oxygen saturation, often referred to as SpO2 (peripheral capillary oxygen saturation),
represents the percentage of hemoglobin in the blood that is carrying oxygen.

The oxygen saturation level is a crucial parameter in assessing a person's respiratory and
cardiovascular health. SpO2 level of 95% to 100%. However, certain medical conditions or
environmental factors can lead to lower oxygen saturation levels, which may require medical
attention.

Raspberry PI

Raspberry Pi is a series of small, affordable, single-board computers developed in the United

Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The foundation's primary goal is to promote
computer science education and facilitate access to computing in developing countries. The
Raspberry Pi computers have gained immense popularity due to their versatility, low cost,
and wide range of applications.
