HAZOP/HAZID and actively promote HSE objectives, assist in process design during all
phases of engineering at EPC/EPCC contractors engineering office. Managing team of
multi-ethnics, multi disciplines commissioning engineers. International work experiences
working in harsh environments with large multi-national diverse teams.

NFPS – I1P1 PROJECT - Commissioning Lead

Project Overview – Brown Field and Green Field


The objective of this project is to sustain the gas production plateau from the QG1 block
of the North Field as natural pressure declines, by installation of two new wellhead
platforms and the associated infrastructure to route the gas to the existing processing
trains at Qatar gas (QG) North Field Bravo (NFB) complex.

The project consists of installation of two (2) new wellhead platforms WHP10N and
WHP11N, two (2) new 28” intra-field pipelines PL10N and PL11N, two (2) subsea
composite cables SC10N and SC11N, one (1) new riser platform RP1N that is bridge-
connected (designated as BR1N-1) to the existing Process and Utilities Platform (PU) at
NFB complex, and associated brownfield tie-ins and modifications at the QG NFB
complex, including new bridge (designated as BR1N-2) installation between QG NFB PU
and QG NFB Riser Platform (PR).

Main Responsibility
Report to the Completion Manager with the job main responsibility to:

Commissioning Preparation
− Ensure all EPSCC Commissioning Management Procedures are delivered on time.
− Ensure delivery and quality of Operational Test Procedures and Commissioning
database.
− Prepare the overall Commissioning plan.
Commissioning Execution
− Ensure commissioning HSE performance with regular site tour and audit by Company
and Contractor Commissioning/Project Management.
− Ensure quality of pre-commissioning and commissioning performed by Contractor by
proper assignment of commissioning team to witness the activities.
− Control quality and schedule of all Commissioning activities performed by Contractor.

Block 32 KAOMBO FPSO Project: Commissioning & Handover Leader

Project Overview
The KAOMBO development is located within the south-east area of Block 32, which is
located offshore Angola, approximately 150 km from the coast. It covers an area of
approximately 5090 km2, in water depths ranging from 1380 to 2200m. The KAOMBO field
development comprises 2 identical FPSO converted from VLCC, OLYMPIA and
ANTARTICA. The Subsea production includes 36 production wells and 28 water injection
Wells. The SURF includes Hybrid loop Production (Production line, Service line, Gas lift
riser and Umbilical), water injection lines and Gas Export Line (and SSIV Control Cable)

Main Responsibility
Report to the Field Operation Manager with the job main responsibility to:
- Ensure consistency of commissioning sequences, preparation and execution between
all technical packages.
- Facilitate proper management of interfaces between all project entities (SURF,
Subsea, FPSO and Field Operation) for smooth start-up and hand over to Field Ops.
- Ensure commissioning quality to minimise production short fall during start up by
providing technical support and guidance for packages.

Laggan Tormore Green Field Project: Commissioning Manager
Project Overview
Total E&P UK Ltd developed the Laggan & Tormore gas fields which are located in
approximately 600 metres water depth in Blocks 206/1a, (P911) and 205/5a (P1159)
respectively situated approximately 125km north west of the Shetland Islands on the UK
Continental Shelf.

The fields are developed subsea. The import pipelines from Laggan Tormore comprise
two multiphase 18” nominal diameter steel production flowlines, each totalling in length
143km, comprising 17 km from Tormore to Laggan and 125 km Laggan to Shetland Island
in where gas is received at a new, nominal 500MMscfd, Gas Production Plant (SGP) build
adjacent to the existing BP Sullom Voe Terminal. Gas is exported via a new 234km 30”
pipeline (SIRGE) to two 12” tie-in points close to the abandoned MCP01 platform on the
TEP UK operated FUKA 32” gas pipeline.

commissioning execution of New Gas Compression System for Peciko phase 6 Project.
Commissioning of new accommodation camp under Tunu 11 Project and commissioning
of Tunu 12 and Tunu 13 A Brown-field project covering new GTS in the swamp area.
Duties include management of three site commissioning teams with dedicated
Commissioning Site Leader for each team.

Main Responsibility
Responsible for all Instrumentation Process fabrication and installation related to
construction of 25,000 MT FPSO topside consisting 13 modules, 3 pipe racks and two
Risers with safety records of 9 million man-hours without LTI and overall yard safety record
of 28 million man-hours without LTI.

Duties include conduct and administer overall job planning and programming
(Construction and Pre-Commissioning) including short range and intermediate program
for approval by Construction Manager. Entering new activities into network; with relative
duration, link and resources, to account for project changes approve by client. Formulation
of proposal for any corrective action require in close collaboration with project control team.

KALTIM METHANOL INDUSTRI

Maintenance Department : Electrical & Instrumentation Section Manager
Main Responsibility
Responsible to ensure E&I system working with best performance to guarantee the
continuity of 24 hours operation of the Plant by implementing Computerized Maintenance
Management System using RCM and CBM for a continuous improvement.

Duties included supervision of E&I maintenance engineers, technical service back up for
the methanol plant, maintaining closed contact with Pertamina for metering system,
maintain communication with vendors.

During the period also:

 Study and modify Methanol loading pump motor into motor for catalyst vacuum that
was used to support Plant Turn Around 1999
 Study and modify both PLC logic and field detector for package steam boiler and
able to reduce spurious shutdown in this unit from 20 times in 1997 into nil in 2001.
 Review and modify mid select control system for Steam let down system and able
to reduce spurious shutdown for this unit from 5 times in 1999 into nil in 2000
 Review performance of Nuovo Pignone Centrifuge Synthesis Gas compressor and
implement modification on the N2 seal system to improve safety on Dry Gas Seal.

Maintenance Department : Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
Main Responsibility
Responsible to follow up all activity related to commissioning, start-up, and reaching
commercial production of 2000 MTPD Methanol Plant. Act as an interface engineer
between vendor manufacturer, main contractor, and company operational staff during
commissioning and start-up
