BUDGE BUDGE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

DEPARTMENT: Computer Science and Engineering

NAME OF THE STUDENT: Debojyoti Mahesh
UNIVERSITY ROLL NO: 27600121002
PAPER NAME: Artificial Intelligence
PAPER CODE: PEC-IT501B
FACULTY NAME: DR. Bimal Datta
INTRODUCTION:
 Welcome to the presentation on "Introducing Artificial Intelligence for PPT
Preparation ”.

 Briefly explain what AI is: "Artificial Intelligence is the simulation of

human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems."

 Mention its capabilities: "AI can perform tasks that typically require human
intelligence, such as problem-solving, speech recognition, learning, and
decision-making.“
 4: AI-Powered Design Assistance
 Explain how AI can assist in design: "AI can analyse content and suggest
appropriate templates, layouts, colours, and fonts for an aesthetically
pleasing presentation."
 Content Generation with AI
 Data Analysis and Visualization
 Speech and Language Processing
WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE(AI)?:

Artificial intelligence(A.I) is the ability of a computer

or a robot controlled by a computer to do tasks that
are usually done by humans because they require
human intelligence and discernment.
In short term it is a combination of hardware &
software or computer which performs as a human
intelligence.
Virtual assistants like chatGPT and Alexa . self driving
car are also example of AI.
Ai have 4 different types -Reactive machine , Narrow
AI , General AI, Artificial superintelligence.
Jon McCarthy considered as father of AI.
AI increased the efficiency of human work.
Weak AI vs. Strong AI:
Weak AI (Narrow AI)
Weak AI refers to AI systems that are designed
to perform specific tasks and are limited to
those tasks only.
Strong AI (General AI)
Strong AI, also known as general AI, refers to
AI systems that possess human-level
intelligence or even surpass human
intelligence across a wide range of tasks.
Advantages of AI:
 By Reducing Human Error. ...
 Allows Automating Repetitive Tasks. ...
 Easily Handles Big Data. ...
 Faster Decision-Making with Continuous Availability. ...
 AI-powered Digital Assistants. ...
 Mitigates Risks.
Types of Artificial Intelligence:
 1. Purely Reactive
 2. Limited Memory
 3. Theory of Mind
 4. Self-Aware
How Does Artificial Intelligence Work?
 Put simply, AI systems work by merging large with
intelligent, iterative processing algorithms.
 Applications of Artificial Intelligence:
1.Natural Language Processing (NLP)
2.Image and Video Analysis
3.Financial Services
4.Virtual Assistants and Chatbots
5.Healthcare & Cybersecurity
6.Smart Homes and IoT
 Artificial Intelligence Examples:
1.ChatGPT
2.Google Maps
3.Smart Assistants
4.Self-Driving Cars
CONCLUSION:
• AI leads to transformative applications within a series
of industrial, intellectual, and social applications, far
beyond those caused by previous industrial
revolutions.
• Furthermore, AI has proven to be superior to human
decision-making in certain areas.
• The main role of AI in education is the automation of
both academic and administrative tasks, personalized
learning, smart content, and all-time accessibility.
• AI is a well sought out tool for digital marketing.
• However, Artificial intelligence is defined or developed
for specific tasks only, and its applicability to other
tasks may not be challenging.
