The SQ5R reading strategy, which stands for Survey, Question, Read, Record, Recite,
Review, Reflect, is the best method for processing in-depth information and
understanding them.
More importantly, it improves our vocabulary, develops an efficient way of interpreting
and responding from what we've understood, enhances summarizing, and teaches us
to figure out the primary concept from various ideas.
In short, we will become active readers linking with what we read.

2. Do you think Chunking strategy helps improve your comprehension skills?

Justify your answer.
The chunking strategy develops a different way which improves our comprehension
skills. However, there are also other factors that fail to improve our comprehension
skills. One of those factors is that it prevents us from reading a particular topic or a
statement from the beginning to the end. Because, in chunking strategy, we often look
and gather keywords from a specific topic instead of reading it entirely.
The essential factor, however, is that it assists us in attaining more knowledge about
terms that we aren't familiar with, especially gathering keywords and developing a
concise plus a meaningful topic.
In conclusion, this strategy improves our comprehension skills.

reading comprehension strategy?
Among the kinds of context clues, I prefer Definition as the best reading
comprehension strategy. In this context clue, a phrase or a word is clarified directly in
order for the reader to understand a specific topic and then guides them to construct
an idea efficiently.

Yes, the process of making a birthday cake was easy to understand since the
sequence is placed appropriately and developed concisely.
Therefore, what happens to the reader is that he or she will be able to follow and
execute the correct procedure of making a birthday cake.
